The house
3-star and 3 épis Gites de France tourist accommodation, not overlooked, renovated in 2023. Semi-detached house with the owner, in a quiet cul-de-sac, dating from before the war, completely renovated in 2022, overlooking the wooded meadow, on one level and in a contemporary style, comprising : dining room with bar, lounge, television, 38 m2 ~ fitted kitchen opening onto living room 17 m2 with hob, oven, microwave, extractor fan, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, giving a living room of 55 m2 ~ 2 bedrooms, one with 1 double bed (160x200) + 1 single bed (90x200), 20 m², and the other with 1 double bed (160x200), 17m2 - bed linen provided and beds made up on arrival,-wifi for internet connection- glazed wood-burning stove, 9 m2 shower room with large shower, washing machine ~ ~ separate WC ~ Terrace ~ Barbecue ~ Garden furniture - Umbrella ~Garage - cool house in hot weather - only one dog weighing up to 10 kg is accepted at €8 per night for the first week, then €5 for subsequent nights;. Cats are not accepted. I do not offer a cleaning service when a dog is staying in the gite.

Electricity: 8kw per day included in the price, which is charged at €0.25 per kW. Tourist tax: 1,21€/person/night, firewood 30€/week.

History and art have left a deep imprint here and if you are a history lover, you can stroll in the footsteps of Joan of Arc at Vaucouleurs, Charles V at Montmédy, or Louis XVI at Varennes. If you are an artist, you can admire the works of the painter Bastien Lepage in the Montmédy museum or the sculptor Ligier Richier in Bar-le-Duc and Saint-Mihiel.
If you are passionate about great historical facts, you can visit Verdun and its surroundings and discover the numerous battlefields, the forts, the Douaumont Ossuary, the military museums bearing witness to the First World War such as the Fleury Memorial, the Verdun Citadel.
If you like the unusual, you can visit the European Beer Museum in Stenay and enjoy a free tasting.
The Meuse is also the land of gastronomy and delicacies. If you are a keen hiker, walker or mountain biker, everything is provided for you to use the many marked trails through the green forests of the Massif d'Argonne, the Meuse hills, the Ornain valley or the Saulx.
You can also take advantage of the summer season to attend numerous events: sound and light shows, fireworks, old trades festivals, pilgrimages, commemorative ceremonies.

Une vacance de 19 Janvier jusqu’au 6 Février. On sait qu’il-y-a une risque de neige, la pluie et froid. Mais, c’est à que ces conditions de soulignent les nombreux aspects positifs du gîte.
Confortable, chaleureux, et accueillante. Tout ce que vous pensez avoir besoin est à portée de main, même une connexion WI-FI. Il y a beaucoup à voir dans les environs immédiats. La Grande Guerre a laissé ces traces impressionnantes. Le boulanger et l’épicerie n’’est pas loin. Varennes est 4 kilomètre. Et, très important, on peut toujours réserver en toute confiance. Mme Christine Clanche fait tout parfaitement bien et il y a toujours un cadeau de bienvenue. Elle est toujours prête à aider si nécessaire. Par conséquent, hautement recommandé Een vakantie van 19 januari tot 6 februari. Dan weet je dat er sneeuw en regen kan zijn en dat het koud is. Maar juist deze omstandigheden benadrukken de vele positieve kanten van de gite.
Comfortabel, warm, knus en gezellig. Alles wat je denkt nodig te hebben is binnen handbereik, zelfs WIFI en internet. In de directe omgeving is veel te zien. De Eerste Wereldoorlog heeft hier haar indrukwekkende sporen achter gelaten. De bakker en de kruidenier zijn niet ver weg. Varennes is 4 kilometer verder op. En, zeer belangrijk, men kan altijd in vol vertrouwen reserveren. Mevr.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Gite "La Prairie" à Boureuilles a la vacances de l’automne. La maison est calme et très bien décorée. Le logement est très agréable, confortable et bien équipée. La Gite est bien située pour découvrir la région, spécialement les lieux de 1ère guerre. Un endroit que nous recommandons.

Semaine du 22 au 29 juillet 2017 gite le FOURNIL Séjour très agréable location parfaite pour une famille de 5 personnes, au calme u le enfants peuvent s'amuser, gite très bien meublé avec tout le nécessaire, idéalement situé prés des sites des différents sites de la 1ere guerre mondiale.
