One of 6 family holiday cottages with two heated pools in sw France Exclusively for families.
The Fleurie family holiday cottage at La Grange du Moulin sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, a double and a twin on the first floor with the small bathroom which has bath with shower attachment, basin and toilet and plenty of hot water. Downstairs is open plan with kitchenette, living and dining areas with table and chairs to seat 4. The kitchenette is equipped with 4 ring gas hob, electric oven / grill, microwave, fridge freezer , dishwasher and all basic crockery and cutlery to enjoy a self catering family holiday in SW France .
There is a large patio window to the front opening onto the terrace with charcoal barbecue. There is a small area of garden to the rear accessed around the side of the Fleurie cottage . There is a wooden table and chairs where you can enjoy a glass of champagne whilst watching the sunset in the evening over the open fields. This is one of the sunniest cottage, as it has windows on 3 sides.
The cottage is part of the La Grange du Moulin property where six cottages share the facilities of large enclosed play garden, enclosed heated swimming pools, hot tub, laundry facilities and all the activities we have on offer.
Our property is exclusively for families with young children usually under the age of 8 years, averaging around 6 yrs in July and August and 2 or 3 yrs at other times.. If you have older children try our nearby Les Vallaies french family holiday property.
Parent points: There is an open tread, cast iron, spiral staircase. (This has a stair barrier at both the top and bottom.) It is opposite the swimming pool. The pool is completely enclosed and also has a security alarm and has a child safety latch on the gate. Cot, high chair, booster seat, change mat, toys and books, stair barriers, potty and toilet seat , plastic crockery and cutlery, toddler step an hand blender are standard items in all the cottages at La Grange du Moulin child friendly gites.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad met ons zoontje van 3 jaar.
Wendy en Chris zijn zeer gastvrij. Alles in en rondom de gite was berekend op (kleine) kinderen.
Het huisje was van voldoende comfort voorzien met prima bedden, een vaatwasser en veel speelgoed.

Our stay at La Grange du Moulin was very relaxing. Wendy & Chris our hosts, were very accommodating from the moment we arrived. The cottage was very nice & cosy with everything you need. The beds were great, very soft. We'd come back for sure !

Another fantastic week at Wendy and Chris's ! The kids have had a great time swimming, playing in the garden and making friends. We have visited the beach lake, the aquarium and local villages. A relaxing holiday for us as parents too knowing the children are playing safely and providing opportunity to socialise with other parents ! We would highly recommend the gites for families with young children.

At La Grange du Moulin child friendly gites we have two pools and a hot tub. Both the pool and hot tub areas are enclosed and secured by child safety latches. The main pool is also alarmed. The swimming pool is heated and surrounded by a sunbathing terrace. Also located in the pool area is the heated toddler pool surrounded by a wooden sunbathing deck. The toddler pool is shaded at all times by a 'sail'. We have noodles and inflatables and there's lots of sunbeds and seating areas too. The hot tub is located in a separate secure area adjacent to the pool area. Lit at night so parents can enjoy a relaxing soak when the children are asleep !
We welcome families with young children, babies and toddlers from mid May to the end of September. We generally attract under 8 yrs (average age around 5) in peak season and babies & toddlers at other times. That means that there will be other like minded families with children, toddlers and babies all wanting an enjoyable relaxing stay where there are other children for theirs to play with and they are not frowned upon when a baby cries. If your children are entertained then it usually means you'll be able to relax that bit more, so at La Grange du Moulin family holiday cottages we offer lots of activities every week like pottery and fabric painting and the garden and cottages are filled with toys.
At La Grange du Moulin we pride ourselves on offering the ideal self catering family holiday. We are small enough to enable you to quickly get to know your neighbours so you feel relaxed enough to let your children play freely; yet big enough to have lot's of facilities and other children to play with and other like minded adults to chat to. There are six family holiday cottages. Four sleep 6 people in three bedrooms each, one gite sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and one cottage sleeps 8 in four bedrooms; so we have something for everyone. This small cluster of self catering holiday cottages creates a lovely friendly environment in which to enjoy your self catering family holiday with toddlers and kids in France.
