Grenier cottage at La Grange du Moulin

Grenier family holiday cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. On the ground floor there is an open plan living dining area and
a medium sized kitchen to the front. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, 4 ring gas hob, work top electric oven/grill, microwave, fridge freezer, electric kettle and all basic crockery and cutlery for a comfortable child friendly self catering holiday. An open tread, cast iron, spiral staircase takes you to the first floor with double bedroom and single bedroom, both of which have draws and hanging space. there is a modern bathroom with bath, shower facility, toilet and basin, with loads of hot water and good pressure.. The staircase continues to the second floor - a large open attic bedroom with 3 single beds. There is a small wardrobe and 2 sets of draws.We recommend that this room is used by older children who are able to safely negotiate the spiral staircase to visit the bathroom at night, or by a child in a cot (and cannot get out) however a stair barrier is provided. A travel cot will fit in any of the bedrooms and there is also a wooden cot on the spacious landing.
The holiday gite has a small patio area to the front and rear. The outdoor dining table and chairs are situated at the front.
The charcoal barbecue is at the rear with a wooden drinks table and chairs for two. This gite is next to the lane. The lane is very quiet - being used only by our guests and our neighbours, and there is a gate which should only be used occasionally
by our guests on arrival - it is left locked at other times. The family holiday cottage was originally used as a grain store. It has exposed stone walls on all 3 floors .
The thick stone walls create a cellar like effect and in the heat of the summer, the cottage is a welcome escape from the midday sun. Like Papillon it is quite a dark cottage. It has a good view of the play garden.
Cot, high chair, booster seat, change mat, toys and books, stair barriers, potty and toilet seat , plastic crockery and cutlery, toddler step an hand blender are standard items in all the cottages.
