The house
Our Villa Tranquille sleeps 6 in three bedrooms, a double and two single. one bathroom and an open plan sitting, dining and kitchen areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, toaster, kettle, microwave and four ring gas hob. There is a covered terrace and outdoor garden furniture. Off road parking for 2 cars and a large private garden. The house has tv and internet.
For rentals of one month or more please contact us first with your requirements as we have several houses in the area. Between october and may we will take a meter reading for electricity usage on arrival and at the end of your stay. you are required to pay for the electricity that you use at a set rate that will be given to you before booking. A gas bottle supplies the gas hob, the gas on arrival is given free of charge, if the bottle requires a change during your stay this is charged at 50€ (1 bottle should last 6 months with normal usage)

Centrally located within the Charente Maritime. Just a 10 min drive to our local town, 30 mins to Saintes and Cognac, 45 mins to Angouleme and Niort and an easy 1hr drive to La Rochelle, Royan and Rochefort. Fly into Bordeaux (1hr30); Poitiers (1hr20); La Rochelle (1hr) or even Nantes or Limoges (2hrs). Just a 15 min drive to the A10 motorway.
Set on the edge of a very quiet rural hamlet, ideal for walks and cycle rides and to get away from it all !

The house is well positioned within the region with east access to golf, fishing, beaches and towns
Additional price info and offers
We offer discounts for long stays of over 1 month (max 90 days) . We will also be open to negotiating the price depending on numbers for example 2 adults 2 children. Please contact us for winter lets of less than a month - we can be flexible. For winter lets we charge extra for electricity and water usage (price set by the utility company which we give you beforehand) you are responsible for replacing the gas bottle.
