The house
The detached house "Wajoet" built in 1997, is equipped with every comfort and furnished for 6 people.
Through the front door you enter the living-dining room of about 35 m2.
The open kitchen, renovated in 2023, is equipped with a large built-in fridge, a hot-air oven/combi microwave, dishwasher, 4-zone induction hob, coffee maker and extractor.
From the living room, the hallway leads to the bedroom, equipped with a double Auping bed (180 x 200) and a wardrobe.
Also from the hallway, you enter the spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and washbasin. Here you will also find the separate toilet.
On the other side of the house are the spacious scullery and the garage.
Upstairs are two large bedrooms, each with two single beds.
Both bedrooms have a wardrobe and a desk with chair.
The upstairs bathroom has a toilet and a washbasin.
The entire ground floor has white tiling, while the upper floor is covered with linoleum.
The house is equipped with WIFI and TV with Google Chromecast.
Location of the house
The detached house "Wajoet" with a garden of 680 m2 is located in a beautiful hilly, in height ranging from 90 to 350 m, wooded area in the southeast of the Dordogne just outside the typical French village of St.Julien-de-Lampon.
The house is located on the D 50, about 100 m from the Dordogne River and 800 m from the centre. From the paved terrace at the front of the house you have a fantastic view of château "Roufillac" .
Equipment of the house
The house is fully equipped, including WIFI, a built-in fridge, fridge with freezer drawers, hot air oven/combi microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Google Chromecast, a double Auping bed (180 x 200cm) and four single beds.
The house is offered with MOUNTED BEDS and FINAL CLEANING.
All six beds come with single duvets.
The kitchen equipment is very complete so there is no need to bring anything with you.
There is no tumble dryer.
Both at the front and the back of the house is a tiled terrace of 27 m2 and 23 m2 respectively and there is a mobile Basterd BBQ.
The swimming pool
Next to the swimming pool, measuring 12m x 5m with a depth of 2m, is the pump house with the purification system and, in addition, an area where you can sit covered.
The pool is operational from 18 May to 28 September 2024.
Here you will also find the garden furniture consisting of two garden tables with 4 or 6 chairs, two parasols and two sun loungers for the pool.
In the garage you will find garden tools.

CASTLES
If you are interested in castles, the Dordogne region will certainly appeal to you.
There are many, including the nearby Château Fénelon in Sainte Mondane and Château Les Milandes, made famous by Josephine Baker.
Other beautiful castles are: Château Hautefort, Château Monfort, Château Beynac, Château Castelnaud.
GROUNDS
Worth seeing are the numerous prehistoric caves.
The most famous one is Lascaux II, where you can visit the replica of the real Lascaux Cave.
Grotte de Rouffignac has more than 250 rock paintings, entrance is by electric train. Grotte de Cougnac is also known for its many rock paintings.
Roc St. Christophe, has the largest overhanging rock crevice in Europe.
Caves with stalactites are among others: Grotte du Grand Roc, Grotte de Cougnac, Grotte de Domme and Gouffre de Padirac. You can sail on an underground tributary of the Dordogne.
GARDENS
Gardens to visit are: Les jardins d'eaux in Carsac, Jardins de Cadiot near Carlux,
Jardins d'Eyrignac, the castle gardens at Chateau Hautefort and Les jardins de Marqueyssac.
More to the south, in the department Lot(46), is the city of Cahors.
With its old city parts and its Pont Valentré, this city is definitely worth a visit. The region of Cahors is also famous for its excellent wines, many wine cellars are open to the public.

Activities
The Dordogne(24) département also known as the Périgord has an almost subtropical climate in summer with lots of sunshine and little rain. It is rich in forests, lakes, rivers, castles and the most beautiful prehistoric caves in Europe.
St Julien-de-Lampon is a small cosy village located on the Dordogne River with around 650 inhabitants. The village has almost all basic facilities such as: a bakery, a butcher, a supermarket, a café-restaurant, a hairdresser, a pharmacy, a doctor, a dentist, a post office, an ATM and several restaurants.
Near the bridge over the river is the tourist office. There is a weekly market on Thursday mornings.
From the house it is a 5-minute walk to the river, 8 minutes to the centre for fresh baguettes, among other things. At 17 km is the beautifully restored medieval town of Sarlat. It has many restaurants, alleys, terraces and cultural activities, such as street theatre and exhibitions.
The Saturday morning market in Sarlat's old town centre is well worth a visit.
From the house, Sarlat as well as Souillac can be reached via a beautiful cycle path (piste cyclable) built on an old railway track.
The fortified town of Domme offers magnificent views over the Dordogne valley.
In village le Bournat in Le Bugue, there is an open-air museum with, among other things, a farm, house, school, shop, sawmill, costumes, utensils and machines that give an impression of life in previous centuries.
Beautifully built against the rocks, Rocamadour is especially famous as a place of pilgrimage.
La Roque Gageac is known as one of the most picturesque villages in France.
Les Eyzies-de-Tajac is a small town in the Périgord Noir, it lies on the river Vézère, a tributary of the Dordogne. In and around this town are numerous prehistoric caves.
Souillac, with its Byzantine domed church, Friday market and several cultural festivals is also well worth a visit.
