The house
Luxury French gite, just outside one of the prettiest villages 'beau village' of Aubeterre. Newly refurbished to a very high standard, with a large open-plan kitchen/family room , 3 Twin bedrooms (all with private shower/bath room). The 10 x 5m Heated May & September pool overlooking open fields and large patio. Walk into the local village to make use of the local shop for your fresh morning bread and croissants etc, or enjoy the rivers, chateau and vineyards further afield!"

From every room you have far-reaching views over the countryside. The living room benefits from a log burner too. The spacious kitchen is well equipped and also has a log burner.

Le Shedeaux will offer you peace and quiet in the countryside. A lovely rural gite with all mod cons and a superb pool outside for your private use. The nearest village is Saint Privat Des Pres , there is a shop selling most items and a bar. Aubetterre is only a 5 min drive away. St Aulaye is about 10 minutes drive away and has a great beach / bar & restaurant .. canoeing and tennis courts are available in Aubeterre and St. Aulaye.

Beautifully presented gite having been recently renovated. All.mod cons, 3 bathrooms which was great for our grown up family of 5, pool and expansive surrounding grounds fantastic. Very peaceful location yet close to essential amenities and places to visit. Paul and Rachel fantastic hosts and on site for any help or advice but maintain privacy for duration of stay. Would highly recommend.

Heel mooi gerenoveerd huis, met alles er op en er aan. Prachtige tuin, groot zwembad, toffe terrassen. Vriendelijke huiseigenaars.

An array of restaurants you will find in the nearby local town / villages of Aubeterre sur Dronne (Charente) and Riberac (Dordogne). The nearest restaurant is in Saint Antoine Cumond and is called Relais 24. In Aubeterre we can highly recommend La Taverne.
