The house
Our Domaine Le Dragon Rouge where we live with 2 people has 2 holiday homes for a total of 15 people and possibly 2 babies and is very suitable for multi-generational holidays
The detached house Le Sagitaire/Sagittarius ( 4- 10 pers plus baby.) and the Gite le Verseau/Waterman for 4-5 pers ( plus baby ) and are located on the beautiful, fully restored domaine Le Dragon Rouge (already to be found on the first land register maps of 1816 ) in La Crouzille,Tourtoirac in the Dordogne.
The holiday home Le Sagitaire/Boogschutter is with 5 bedrooms very suitable for 10-persons plus e.v.t. baby. Downstairs entrance with spacious hall, cosy living room with satellite TV/DVD, wood-burning stove/CV and dining area,
A large fully equipped kitchen with also a dining area and exit to the 2 terraces.
Furthermore, a double bedroom, bathroom with bath/shower and washbasin and a separate toilet.
On the second floor the second bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. Also 2 double bedrooms, 1 with extra camping bed and a bedroom with 3 single beds. Outside 2 large terraces overlooking the beautiful valley.
And our Gite Le Verseau ( max 5 pers.)
This 2-bedroomed holiday home is suitable for 2-5 people plus baby. Large living room with satellite TV/DVD/Wifi, wood stove/central heating and open kitchen with exit to large wooden veranda ''Perigord style'' with dining table and 5 chairs. This veranda has stunning views over valley and woods and is south facing.
Second floor bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. One spacious double bedroom with extra single bed and/or camping bed and large landing with 3 single beds.
At the front of our beautiful courtyard a seat under veranda in the shade

On Domain Le Dragon Rouge you will also find our house, maison orientale and large barn, together with the 2 holiday houses, all completely restored, situated around the beautiful typical French courtyard. A beautiful garden with sitting area and children's playground and a meadow with our pond and animals. We also have a beautiful swimming pool.
The whole area is fenced incl. pool so child friendly
Domaine Le Dragon Rouge with both holiday homes (max15 pers. Plus 2 babies) is regularly rented to groups and families and offers plenty of space and privacy, after 15 years in Asia to have lived here we have found peace and reflection. Key words on the domaine are therefore, non commercial, simplicity, inspiration, reflection.
Angela the hostess (ex-child leader) looks forward every year to the children and organizes various activities.

Lacrouzille, a hamlet of 13 houses, is located a few kilometres from the town of Tourtoirac with its recently discovered caves, cosy Excideuil, Hautfort with its famous castle. And a little further away Montignag, famous for the caves of Lascaux, medieval Sarlat and at 35 km the beautiful capital of the Dordogne, Perigueux.
