The house
Le Creuset is a cottage for 6 persons, the name refers to the famous French red-orange cooking pots. These are also used in chef David's kitchen to surprise you with his delicious creations.
Le Creuset has its own terrace at the side of the house, which can be reached from the living room. At the front you have a beautiful and wide view over the sloping landscape and the lake. At the back there is a view of the garden and the swimming pool.

La Lègerie is situated in one of the most beautiful regions of France. The French rightly call this region the Périgord Vert: nature here is green and unspoilt. In the hilly landscape, farms, forests, lakes and typical French villages lie side by side in perfect harmony. There are also beautiful castles in large numbers, for example along the Route Richard Coeur de Lion. The Route de Compostella, well known among hikers, also runs a few kilometres along our domain.

Your host David is a trained cook. We will be pleased to spoil you with a delicious three-course dinner in the evening.
We do this 4 days a week, for those who wish. A carafe of wine and water are included. We are also happy to prepare vegetarian meals.
When the weather is nice, dinner is served under the "abri" and when it rains, we move indoors.
Activities
Nearby, you can go hiking, cycling, golfing, horseback riding and swimming. Are you interested in culture? By car, you can easily reach the cities Angoulême, Limoges, Bordeaux, Périgueux and Brantôme or the Centre de la Mémoire in Oradour. The children can have fun in a large maze, a children's amusement park and a zoo. In short, enjoy nature, sniff up some culture and relax, it's all possible at La Lègerie. In each cottage, you will find information about the various activities in the region.
