Moulin du Repaire has recently acquired unlimited internet access through fibre optics!

Moulin du Repaire is first described in an act dated 12-8-1563, almost 500 years old. It was part of the "chateau" that lies further up the hill. The watermill, the millers house (now the big house) and the bakery (now the gîte) served to provide the owners and the (then very many) "staff" with their daily bread.
For the mill's benefit, a dam was also built in the valley, creating a small reservoir (2 ha.). Here you can fish for carp and pike, among other things.
The domain is 14 hectares in total and is situated 4 k.m. from the picturesque town Saint Leonard de Noblat.
The property is very quiet, but not really isolated. From a distance, one single house can be seen. The access road of 300 metres is on private property.

Besides the gîte it is also possible to rent the big house or even both houses at the same time,
For example, we ourselves hold a family reunion at "Moulin du Repaire" every three years. Because of the many possibilities on the terrain and the peace we have a perfect week every time.
But .... for your peace and quiet there is always only one tenant, unless you also rent the other house, the other house remains empty or is used by us and/or our friends where your privacy is respected!

Furnishing and equipment:
The spacious gîte has a living room with a beautiful old bread oven, and a wood-burning stove that, if necessary, heats the entire ground floor.
The living room adjoins the dining area with French doors that give access to the terrace.
The kitchen is equipped with 4 burner cooker / oven, microwave / oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine etc.
Scullery with toilet.
First floor with loft, two bedrooms and walk-through bedroom, bathroom with shower, washbasin and 2nd toilet.

Equipped with:
- TV with Dutch channels.
- DVD player (with many DVDs).
- Radio with CD player.
- Spacious terrace of 40 m2 with garden furniture.
- Washer and dryer, iron. hairdryer, etc.

Furthermore, you also have:
- The large, and possibly heatable, swimming pool with sun terrace.
- A cot and high chair.
- A fire basket for the cosy evenings outside.
- A barbeque.
- A rowing boat for the lake.
- Jeu-de-boules court and swing.
- A beautiful forest, (very suitable for building (tree) huts).
