The house
Holiday home Farigoulette has a well thought-out layout. In the centre of the house you will find the living room, with the master bedroom (with its own bathroom) next to it. In the wing are 2 more bedrooms and a second bathroom. This makes the house very suitable for families with children, or for occupancy by 2 families.
There is a large covered terrace. A little lower, in front of the house is the large swimming pool (4x8 m) with underwater lighting and roman steps.
Our house is looked after by John Oerlemans (maison-totale) who will guide you and his team and answer all your questions, as well as manage your request/booking.

In the south of France lies a small village: Escales. It is the ultimate place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. On the outskirts of this village, the Dutch have developed a true eldorado with five holiday villas, each with its own swimming pool, a centrally located private road, creating a particularly child-friendly holiday spot. With views of the beautiful surroundings, almost always under clear blue skies. Distance from Utrecht is 1250KM.

Restaurants, food & wine
In the quiet picturesque village of Escales and neighbouring villages, a cosy café, a hotel, a shop and a post office are within walking distance. There are several good wine caves where you can buy the local red and white wine, and they also offer delicious rosé. For example at Chateau de Blomac in Blomac. There are weekly guided tours and wine tastings at Chateau de Blomac during the season. Here you also get the opportunity to participate in the Repas Vigneron, a meal with typical regional dishes and matching wines of the Chateau. You can also extend your holiday by a few days.
Activities
Nice trips in the area are Carcassonne (La Cité is a uniquely preserved 11th century complete city, breathtakingly lit at night), the university city of Narbonne, the wide sandy beaches of St. Pierre la Mer, Narbonne Plage and Gruissan (all within 30 minutes by car).
There is beautiful nature in the national park the Haute Languedoc and the Pyrenees.
In the immediate vicinity are several golf parks, canoe possibilities, mountain biking, canyoning and other sporting activities.

Heerlijk huis met alles erop en er aan. Fijne omgeving. We zijn hier in 2018 geweest en dit jaar gaan we weer terug 😊 om te genieten van rust ruimte en hopelijk de 🌞 .
Schuermans from Mechelen,
Prachtige streek,wijngaarden,zee,bergen en leuke dorpjes. Het huis is rustig gelegen juist buiten een klein wijndorpje. Zwembad en jacuzzi goed onderhouden door John. Kortom leuke en aangename vakantie gehad.
