The house
Masmoulin is an attractive self catering holiday home sleeping up to 10 people. It has the following layout.
Ground floor: A spacious living room with fireplace, a separate dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with pantry.
A large master bedroom and a bathroom with bath, separate shower and toilet.
In this room are also the washing machine and dryer.
On the first floor there are 4 double bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet, and a large hall with library.

Mas Moulin is located between Carcassonne and Limoux in the excellent wine region of the Malepère.
The house is situated 800m from the village Rouffiac d' Aude.
From the house there are excellent walks with breathtaking views of the Montagne Noire, the Pyrenees and Carcassonne. The airport of Carcassonne is at 12 km (Ryanair).

Mooi huis, prachtige locatie en een geweldig panoramisch uitzicht.
en tevens een fijne plek als uitvalbasis , direct aan de Pyreneeën, land van de katharen, carcassonne, mirepoix, een grote keuze aan ruïnes, met wederom geweldige uitzichten, je hoeft je in deze streek absoluut niet te vervelen, er is enorm veel te doen.

Rust, ruimte en natuurschoon. Prachtig huis gelegen op een zeer mooie locatie. Huis is stijlvol ingericht. Chapeau!

Wat een mooi huis op een prachtige plek! Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf, het mooie uitzicht (vanaf elke kamer uitzicht op het omliggende landschap en de bergen), de gastvrijheid en de vele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Het huis is met veel aandacht voor detail ingericht en zeer comfortabel. Een plek om te onthouden en zeker naar terug te keren!
Restaurants, food & wine
Wine tasting is a must for wine lovers. The Pays d' Oc has an exquisite selection of which the Malepère wine is particularly rich in flavour, as are the neighbouring Cabardes wines.
Don't miss out on he world-famous Blanquette de Limoux, or a little further afield are the vast vineyards of the Minervois.
In Carcassonne and its surroundings, you will find several very good restaurants.

Activities
You are spoilt for choice of activities in the immediate vicinity.
Admire the remains of the Cathar era such as fortresses and castles. Famous are the ruins of PEYREPERTUSE, MONTSEGUR and RENNES LE CHATEAU.
Of course, a stay in this area is not complete without a visit to the walled city of Carcassonne, La cité, with its 52 towers.
Within 45 minutes you can reach Toulouse or the Mediterranean beaches.
