The house
If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy the good life and the children can play, then Unique avec une B is the place to be.
The 14th century farmhouse, decorated with taste, is a pleasant place to be. The thick walls make it very cool in summer.
On the ground floor there is a cosy kitchen with old beams, the bathroom with a French bath, shower and toilet.
One floor higher is the living room with an old French fireplace and old beams on the ceiling. On both sides of the room a balcony, so you can still enjoy the sun in the early morning and late afternoon. On this floor you will also find the master bedroom (the red room). Each room has its own colour. The second bedroom is decorated in blue and is on the second floor. (See the pictures).
Swimming pool: The private swimming pool (12x5) has a large sun terrace.

The Midi-Pyrenees with Toulouse as its capital is a particularly rich and varied region, with forests, mountains and a river landscape.
In the AVEYRON region, there is always a party going on and many visitors return time and again to be welcomed so hospitably and spontaneously.
Culture, nature and party lovers will find what they are looking for in the beautiful bastide towns, cities and the beautiful routes through the nature reserves. There are also many feasts and festivals organised every year.
In the past, many bastide towns were built in this area. These are walled settlements without a castle, but with a fortified church to protect the residents against attacks from outside. Some of the bastide towns have not changed much over the centuries.
The towns of Montoban, Cordes, Villeneuve Sauveterre- de Rouergue, Najac, St. Cirgue de la Popie and Villefranche are well worth a visit and also host a market once a week. Villefranche de Rouergue lies 4 km from VEUZAC. The largest market in the area is held there. People come there from far and wide.
Villefranche de Rouergue can be reached by bicycle (you can borrow it from us) or by car. 3,5 km from VEUZAC.
Villefranche de Rouergue is a medieval town with a special atmosphere, where you immediately feel at home. With all facilities, such as 3 large supermarkets and cosy shopping streets.
It is situated in a beautiful, hilly area of the AVEYRON. An area where you never get tired of its many cultural sights and unspoilt natural beauty. And for everyone who loves a good glass of wine on one of the cosy terraces.
And also discover the breathtaking surroundings of the Aveyron or the Lot. And the picturesque medieval towns, such as
Penne, Bruniquel, Caylus (known for the sculpture of Zadkine), St. Antonin-de-Noble Val, Peyrusse la Roc.

Wij hebben een fijne vakantie gehad. Genoten van de vele leuke dorpjes in de omgeving. Ook enkele kastelen bezocht. Genoeg te doen in de omgeving. Ook fijn dat er zo’n heerlijk zwembad was. Waar we privé gebruik van konden maken. Misschien wel goed om te vermelden dat het niet aan het huisje vast zat zoals op de foto’s lijkt, maar wel zo dichtbij dat dat voor ons geen probleem was. Buitenruimtes bij het huis vonden we top. Hier hebben we dan ook veel gebruik van gemaakt. Binnen was het wat meer behelpen,maar we hebben ons er goed mee gered. Veel trappen in het huis dus ben je wat minder goed te been dan moet je daar wel rekening mee houden..
Quirine is een zeer hartelijke gastvrouw. Je kunt met al je vragen heel makkelijk bij haar terecht. Heel fijn!Marcel & Lianne Meulstee from Schiedam,
Lianne en ik, Marcel, samen met ons hondje Marli werden er hartelijk ontvangen door Quirine. Net alsof je bij een goede vriendin op bezoek komt ook al ken je elkaar nog niet. We kregen een prima uitleg over de omgeving en ook waar en wanneer iets te doen is. Wat een fijne en hartelijke ontvangst! We waren onder de indruk van de ruimte en mogelijkheden rondom het zwembad en daar hebben we best wel veel tijd doorgebracht :-) Later op de avond gingen we vaak pas later naar binnen en daar vermaak je ook prima. Het stadje Villefrance is op maar 4km dus echt dichtbij, incl. bakker, een megagrote supermarkt en ook zelfs een Aldi. Op de heenreis is een overnachting in Vierzon wellicht een optie, daar heeft Quirine ook ons goed advies in gegeven. Tijdens de vakantie verliep het contact prima. Quirine respecteert onze privacy, we hebben een aantal keren gezellig samen gegeten. Zelf vond ik het niet erg om op eigen initatief het zwembad en terras bij te houden, is ook ontspanning en je hoofd leeg maken. We zijn niet veel weg geweest omdat het er prima onthaasten is!
Bij een 23 graden kun je al goed aan het zwembad vertoeven. Hadden maar 1 dag regen en zijn toen met de auto op pad gegaan. De tijd gaat er echt hard wat een goed teken is. Wat een heerlijke 2 weken vakantie hebben wij gehad in Veuzac! We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaresse Quirine die naast het huis woont. Het is een typisch Frans huis met gezellige kamertjes, terrassen en smalle trappetjes. Alles is aanwezig in het huis wat je nodig hebt. Wij houden van privacy wat we ook aangegeven hadden, Quirine neemt dat volledig in acht. Als we vragen hadden konden we haar roepen en was ze altijd even hartelijk, gezellig en heel lief voor onze kinderen! Veel tips gekregen om in de buurt te doen, wat een prachtige stuk Frankrijk met al haar bruggen, kerken en kastelen!
We hebben genoten van het heerlijk grote zwembad en de tuin waar we ook van alles konden doen, badmintonnen, voetballen, trampoline springen enz.
Tip voor afhaal pizza; buiten bij de Carrefour in Villefranche, super vriendelijke eigenaar en heerlijke pizza!
Kortom, top vakantie gehad! Dankjewel Quirine, wat een ontzettend lieve en sterke vrouw ben je!

In the vicinity are very good and affordable restaurants. Visiting caves, including the Marcillac wines, is also possible.

Large private swimming pool 12 x 5 surrounded by a large terrace.
Hiking: directly from the house there are several walks to make and booklets with hiking trails are available in the house.
For the sportive holidaymakers there is a lot to do in the Aveyron, such as: rafting, canoeing, acro-branch, golfing, horse- and pony riding (outside rides through beautiful pieces of nature and lessons).
But also cycling and hiking belong to the possibilities. Hiking routes are available in the house.
