The house
Covid 19 guarantee: in case of official lockdown in the department 34 Hérault up to 4 days before arrival date, the amount paid will be fully refunded! So no vouchers or such.
The villa has a large cosy living room with satellite smart TV, so also with Dutch channels there is also a cassette fireplace for romantic evenings. The recently renovated kitchen (November 2022) is fully equipped including dishwasher, fridge with freezer, good oven, etc.... At the front of the house, a new "garden room" was created with large sliding windows opening onto the wooden terrace where it is lovely to relax. This garden room with beautiful views of the garden was equipped with a cosy lounge area and bar table.
There is also a covered outdoor room for cosy summer evenings, apéros and BBQs.
The private garden is about 4000 m2 and slopes downwards, so privacy is guaranteed.
The private pool 6x3 is heated and also has an outdoor shower and beautiful views of the sloping wooded terrain. Comfortable sun loungers on the adjoining stone tiled and walled terrace (for complete privacy) by the pool are available.
There is a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet and two spacious bedrooms with ample wardrobe space. ( 1 bedroom with 2 single beds 90/200 and 1 bedroom with 2 box spring mattresses of 90/200 cm.
The reception and any assistance during your stay is Dutch-speaking. Various "insider" tips for excursions, walks and restaurants are available.
Water and electricity consumption and weekly pool maintenance are included in the rent!

"Les Chantharelles" is fully equipped and is situated in a delightful remote location, but you are not far from places with all amenities. With the pleasant climate, you can sunbathe in the garden or by the heated private pool, or find a place in the shade under a tree. Pardailhan is 15 minutes from St. Chinian, the centre of wine in the Languedoc. During your trips you will be surprised again and again by the beautiful nature and the vast vineyards. But above all: peace and quiet!

Zeer gezellig en aangename verblijfplaats. Alles is aanwezig om er een top vakantie van te maken. Lekker afkoelen in zwembad en 's avonds nog gezellig buiten op terras genieten met glaasje wijn. De gastheer Bart maakt je wegwijs in de buurt met tips voor leuke uitstapjes. Wij hebben er super hard van genoten.

Bij aankomst een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door gastheer Bart. Na zijn uitleg werden we verblijd met een heerlijke Rosé. Dat begon goed. Wat hebben wij een heerlijke vakantieweek gehad. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien en schoon (grote plus). Het huis is gelegen op een mooie kavel en in een prachtige omgeving. Aanrader voor een heerlijk ontspannen verblijf!

Een fijn huis; superschoon, prima bed, geweldige tuinkamer, goede wifi en tv, fijne terrassen met zon en schaduw, zwembad om af te koelen.
We hebben genoten van de rust, de stilte, de vogelgeluiden en de natuur.
Voor boodschappen even een kwartiertje de berg af is prima te doen!
Erg mooie omgeving voor tochtjes en bezoekjes aan een stadje. Er ligt een hele mooie map met veel beschreven korte en langere wandelingen vanuit huis of wat verder weg.
Leuk ontvangen door Sophie, die net als Bart in de buurt is voor als er iets is!
We hebben 3 weken genoten!!!
Activities
Canoeing on the Orb in Cessenon-sur-Orb or in Roquebrun, fat half-hour drive. Nature walks are possible with different lengths and difficulty levels, hiking trail available. A water amusement park is in Cap d'Agde with all kinds of thematic attractions, especially children love it.
The rock pools of Gorge d'Heric are definitely worth several visits. If you like horse riding, you will love it here, from a ride in a riding school to extended rides through the countryside. For golf lovers, 18-hole courses await invitingly. The beautiful beach of Valras Plage is about 50 minutes' drive from "les Chantarelles". Extensive information, e.g. about various markets, nice restaurants can be found in the information folder. We provide a personal welcome upon arrival and are always available during your stay in case of questions or problems.
