The house
In a beautiful natural forest environment (3ha) is our detached holiday home (suitable for 6 people) with a fully fenced saltwater swimming pool (10x5m). the comfort of new construction and the charm of authentic, lots of wood and natural stone. The house is available all year round, heated with a wood-burning stove. The house can be kept cool in the summer. There is TV, internet, a washing machine, dishwasher, all necessary utensils, the beds are made for you on arrival. The house is furnished with many natural materials. The lower floor where the salon, kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and the bathroom are located on the ground floor with very nice covered outdoor terrace.

A quiet authentic village with 250 inhabitants. Our location is 3 km away from the village where there is a shop, restaurant and a village pool. 6 km away is Cazals with all the basic shops, The city of Gourdon at 16 km, Cahors 25 km.

Normaal zijn we niet zo van de recensie's maar voor dit vakantieadres maken wij heel graag een uitzondering.
Allereerst locatie en huis, beide voldeden volledig aan onze behoefte van rust, natuur en comfort. In 2 weken tijd qua weer de uitersten ervaren van 's-avonds de houtkachel aan tot overdag alle ramen en deuren gesloten om het binnen lekker koel te houden. Het huis is voorzien van alle mogelijke comfort. Zelfs de pannenset is uitgebreidt en compleet. De veranda was voor ons ontontbeerlijk. En Eric en Chantal zijn voor ons fantastisch geweest. Niets was teveel en zelfs, toen er een medisch incident speelde, stond Chantal direct voor ons klaar. Het werd voor ons een memorabele vakantie, waar uiteindelijk het genieten van rust en natuur heel heilzaam bleken. Chantal en Eric, deze 10 hebben jullie in onze beleving dik, dikker, dikst verdiend. Wat een heerlijke vakantie hebben we gehad. Het huis La Demoiselle is ruim, koel en van alle gemakken voorzien. 's Avonds genoten we van de prachtige veranda, de sterrenluchten en fladderende vleermuizen. Het was flink warm, dus volop gebruik gemaakt van het royale zwembad. Ook de petanquebaan en de tafeltennistafel zijn goed gebruikt! Graag hadden we nog wat meer gewandeld in de omgeving, maar daarvoor was het echt te heet.

Wij hebben de eer gehad om als 1e langdurige gasten in het gloednieuwe chalet Le nid décureuil te verblijven. We zochten rust, ruimte en natuur en kregen dit in dit lieflijke zelfgebouwde chalet. Midden tussen de bomen prachtig gebouwd en liefdevol ingericht met natuurlijke houten details door Eric en Chantal. Keukeninventaris compleet, 2 gaspitten en warm en koud stromend water voor een heerlijke douche. Complete privacy gerespecteerd door de eigenaars en ook van de andere huurders geen hinder gehad. Heerlijke avondwandelingen op zoek naar reeën, vosjes en overdag genieten van de vele soorten vlinders, zelfs de kolibrie vlinder, en de heerlijke geuren van bloemen. Het (veilig omheinde) zoutwater zwembad is een welkome afkoeling op de warme dagen. Elke ochtend wordt het schoongemaakt. Domme, Serlat, Gourdon, Gouffre de Padirac en La Foret des Singes een bezoek meer dan waard en kanoën op de Dordogne een mooie activiteit. Na 2 weken verblijf zijn wij super uitgerust en hebben wel last van heimwee. Aanrader dus!
