Loft Nord

La Gaudane was an embroidery factory in the 19th century. It has now been renovated into three gîtes of different sizes, while retaining the spirit of the time. This explains the thick, golden stone walls and the high windows that flood the spacious flats (former workshops) with sunlight.
These apartments, of great comfort, all have what is necessary for a stay, and yet provide a total change of scenery due to the architectural choices made. This is the case with the "Loft Nord" (or Loft Bleu because of its dominant colour), which normally accommodates up to 4 people, or even 5 after discussion with the owner (Note that if you are more than 4, additional possibilities exist. Do not hesitate to ask).

Concerning the rental known as Loft Nord, the entrance door opens directly onto a central room of more than 90 m² which serves as a living room, dining room and kitchen (hence the name "Loft").
The furniture is very functional and comfortable in a mainly modern spirit.
The garden shelters a sunny swimming pool, but has many shaded areas around it, under the chestnut trees, under a vine arbour or even under the cherry trees.

A magnificent site, only 400 m from the shops (bakery, post office, bank, local market, craftsmen and artists), in Cordes itself, close to its centre, on the first slopes of the Cathar city, fortified from 1222, one of the jewels of Albi (listed as a UNESCO heritage site and 30 minutes away).
