The holiday home is located in La Soubeyrane, a hamlet of the rural village of Chanéac, in 'Le Parc Naturel Régional des Monts d'Ardèche'. The property is surrounded by beautiful nature.
Attractions in the area include Lac Saint Martial, Mont Mézenc, Le Gerbier de Jonc with the source of the Loire, the Cascade de Ray Pic, Vals Les Bains, Le Puy en Velay, La dolce Via and the many local markets in the picturesque villages.

Activities
Several marked walks depart from the property or from the village. The maps are also available in the house. There is the Circuit des Cabanes especially for young people, the walks to the Soutron, Serre, La Chapelle sous Chanéac, Chambarlac...

For families with children, there is opportunity for relaxation in the Lac de Saint-Martial. You can swim, there is a playground, play equipment is available on the water. If you have an inflatable boat, you can go on the water with it.
Closer to the house there is the possibility of bathing in La Chapelle Sous Chanéac, where picnic tables are available, a playground, possibility of swimming in the Plan d'eau.
Recently, the Dolce Via was reconstructed for hikers and cyclists. It is an old railway bed that starts from the Rhone valley and runs via Saint-Martin de Valamas to Saint-Agrève.
