L’Orangerie

L'Orangerie is located in a valley amidst vast forests and vineyards in a protected nature reserve: the regional park les Monts d'Ardèche. In our own vineyard in the valley, we grow our Merlot grapes for a delicious bottle of wine. Le Moulin de Lande is a unique location for those who love peaceful surroundings in the middle of nature. On the 1.25-hectare estate you will find our own vineyard, a large heated swimming pool with parasols and sun loungers. The pool is enclosed by a fence. There is a private sandy beach on the little river Lande. In the river you can swim, fish, sail boats and build dams. Or laze around on one of the sun loungers on the beach. For the little ones, there is a playground with swings, sandpit and climbing equipment, nicely located next to the vineyard. By the river is a partly covered terrace with a wood-fired pizza oven where you can bake your own pizzas. We have already laid out the wood for you. You can also play table tennis on this lovely terrace. We are quiet and in the middle of nature, yet the many attractions of the Ardèche can be reached within 15-30 minutes. Visit one of the many medieval towns such as Largentière, Vinezac or Balazuc. Go shopping in Aubenas. Dine out in one of the many restaurants: there are several within a short distance of the property. Visit the Ardèche Gorges with the famous Pont d'Arc or the extinct volcanoes in the northern Ardèche. Relax at one of the many waterfalls such as the Ray Pic. Listen to the silence on the central plateau. You can also visit the castle of Voguë, Largentière or Montréal, one of the famous caves like the Aven d'Orgnac or the Cocalière or the famous pont du Gard. A visit to the famous Grotte Chauvet 2 is a must for young and old alike. From le Moulin de Lande, larger cities such as Valence, Montélimar, Nîmes, Orange and Avignon are easy to visit. The Ardeche is known for its lively day and evening markets. There are regular concerts and festivals in the summer months.
