The house
Family weekend in the Ardeche. Large holiday house (Mas) which is ideal for family weekends. Are you looking for a place to spend a family reunion, wedding or a sporty weekend or week with a larger group, then this holiday home is the place to be. Here you will find the space, tranquillity and facilities to spend a nice weekend or week together. The large authentic stone house of 600 square metres is situated on a beautifully situated country estate of 43 hectares. On the estate is also the small-scale campsite Chadeyron located. Around the house you have a fantastic view of the wide surroundings. The house itself has 9 bedrooms with all comfort, 2 bathrooms, 5 toilets, 2 showers, a library, a kitchen and utility room, a cosy living room and a large dining room surrounded by beautiful stone vaults. The house has the charm of the past (1800) but is equipped with modern comforts such as central heating and 3 fireplaces. The house has a large courtyard with adjacent swimming pool. The courtyard is equipped with a long dining table and therefore perfectly suited to enjoy the real French life together. Of course you can barbecue here, but other arrangements are also possible by appointment. Recently, the large roof terrace (see photos) was equipped with a roof and glazing, which allows you to stay outside in all weather conditions. Rustic authentic Ardèche house on a beautifully situated domain of 43 hectares, equipped to accommodate both small and larger groups. The domain is located at 7 km from Vallon Pont d'Arc, and the Gorges de Ardèche. The characteristic house has a beautiful view over the abundant nature on the domain, the ideal place for nature- and peace seekers. From the domain you can go hiking, cycling and/or mountain biking. Because of the central location, it is easy to visit nice surrounding villages.
Kayak/canoe trips can be undertaken from nearby Vallon Pont D'arc. In April 2015 the new caves of Chauvet: Le Caverne du Pont d'arc" have been opened. These are on the world heritage list of
UNESCO. The caves are unique and historically a must. Reservations can be made at the campsite reception or via the internet.

The Ardèche is undoubtedly one of the most interesting regions in France. It has a great diversity of landscapes and also has a lot to offer historically and culturally. In the easily soluble
limestone soil, caves and caverns were created. The walls of some of them were already painted 20,000 years ago. The Ardèche department is named after the river of the same name. Domain
Chadeyron is situated in a nature area where commerce has not yet taken hold. Here you can enjoy nature undisturbed with your family and friends in a beautiful authentic French Mas.
Activities
With its 43 hectares, the domain is ideal for nature and peace seekers. From the domain it is wonderful to walk, cycle and/or mountain bike in the natural environment. Canoeing/kayaking can be started from Vallon Pont d'Arc, 7 km away. In the nature reserve you can make canoe trips from 7 to 32 km. Canyoning or rock climbing can also be undertaken from Vallon Pont d'Arc: In April
2015, the new caves of Chauvet: Le Caverne du Pont d'arc" were opened. These are on the world heritage list of UNESCO. These caves are only 7 km away from domain Chadeyron.
Historically a must. Reservations can be made at our reception desk or via the internet. In the vicinity are nice villages that are worth a visit such as Balazuc, Lagorce and Labeaume. Attractions for the
region are among others the caves, cosy intimate restaurants, many local products like lavender, chestnuts, wine, goat's cheese, nougat, olive products and in season fruits like peaches, figs and grapes. Almost every day there are markets in the surrounding villages where you can find the above mentioned products.

Heel mooi groot landhuis. Prachtige cour perfekt voor grote gezelschappen.Vallon pont d'arc is een leuk en gezellig dorp wel druk. Françoise en Sander doen alles om je een mooie vakantie te geven.Voor herhaling vatbaar!!!
