The house
A flat on the first floor of our 1750s Relais de Poste. The flat is fully equipped; king-size bed, luxury bathroom with double sink and rain shower. Sitting area with TV, record player and wood-burning stove. Well-functioning wifi and air conditioning are of course not lacking. A well-equipped kitchen with Nespresso, dishwasher, oven, etc. Adjacent a terrace with dining area, plancha and views over the garden and hills. If you wish, you can also order breakfast. Twice a week we cook for our guests. You can wander around the garden dotted with fig, cypress and olive trees, various seating areas, hammocks and, of course, a boules court. The swimming pool (12x6) and a well-stocked pool bar are at your disposal. There are 3 other flats for two people each at Relais de Poste.

In a serene part of the Ardèche on the border with the Gard, Relais de Poste is ideally located, close to the many attractions of this area. But just far enough away to be away from the crowds. A place for the sporty holidaymaker; the winding roads are perfect for the cyclists and motorcyclists among us. Do you like hiking and bird-watching? You can indulge yourself here. Or if you are a water fanatic, then canoeing and kayaking on the Ardèche, Cèze or Chassezac is for you.
Those who love typical French marchés are also in the right place here. The weekly market in Barjac is very complete, and Barjac is a beautiful and romantic little town. For the shopaholic, there is Uzès. This town with its famous Saturday market and many boutiques and galleries is definitely worth a visit. Culture and history are not lacking here either. The Grotte Chauvet is world-famous. Or how about the Pont du Gard?
