Drome Provençale is a gastronomic and wine-growing region with a worldwide reputation.
A 30-minute drive will take you along the wine routes of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Beaume-de-Venise and Rasteau. You'll be welcome to taste the best wines directly from the winemakers. The Côtes du Rhône wines around the house are also delicious.
When it comes to gastronomy, you'll be able to sample the fresh, quality produce grown in the area and found on the many Provencal markets: Nyons olives, nougats, truffles, Provencal herbs, etc.

The house is located in the heart of nature, close to hiking and mountain biking trails.
The Drome region offers a wide range of sporting and cultural activities. You can visit the Châteaux of the Drôme at Grignan, Suze-la-Rousse and Valréas, as well as the highest medieval tower in Europe at Crest.
Mont Ventoux and the Baronnies, less than an hour's drive away, are great places for hiking or trail walking and for admiring griffon vultures.
The nearby Ardèche region also offers canoeing, Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and caves such as the Chauvet cave and Aven d'Orgnac.
