Mas le Figuier

The gite is a restored farmhouse. On the ground floor there is a spacious, very well-equipped open-plan kitchen adjoining the dining room and the living room. There is a television (no cable connection) and internet. The utility room has an American fridge, a large and a small oven, a storage room, a shower with washbasin and a separate toilet. There are also 2 bedrooms with a double bed. One bedroom also has a single cot.
On the first floor there is a bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 single bed. A 2nd bedroom with double bed, separate toilet and washbasin. The 'master bedroom' (50 m2) is located in the outbuilding on the ground floor. It consists of a double bed (1.80 m), walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin. This room also has a 3 metre long dressing cupboard.
In the garden there is a beautiful infinity pool (4 m x 12 m and 1.40 m deep) from which you have a magnificent view over the whole valley. There is a large selection of wooden loungers. You can also use the Weber barbecue. There are two terraces adjoining the house, one of which is covered and equipped with a fireplace. There is also a petanque court!

La Roche St Secret is about 12 km from the towns of Dieulefit, Grignan and Valreas and 40 km from Vaison La Romaine. There are many cultural and sporting opportunities. There are many cycling and hiking routes.
There are daily markets in the neighbourhood.

The gite is a 10 minute walk from the village of 'La Roche St Secret' in a valley and 5 minutes from the river 'Le Lez'. In the village there is a restaurant and a small grocery shop where you can buy fresh bread and other daily necessities.
The holiday home is situated at an altitude of 400m, somewhat hidden between a vineyard and an oak forest at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is a perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet.

There are extensive vineyards in this southern part of the Drome and the Vaucluse. The variety of wines is very wide: Cotes du Rhone, Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pape, Vacqueyras and Baumes de Venise.
The endless fields of lavender and the many olive trees are also typical of the region. And for connoisseurs, there are of course the black winter truffles.
