The house
This large family house is located in a small hamlet, on a non-through road. Come recharge your batteries here in this paradise, in the middle of nature you will be able to enjoy the beautiful views here. When night falls, you will see a breathtaking starry sky above you.
On the ground floor there are two living rooms that actually merge into one another. In the first one there is a dining and sitting area where you will also find the television. There is also an open kitchen with all necessities. Also on the ground floor is a shower and toilet. The other living room has a sitting area and dining table. From here you can walk onto the two terraces and enjoy breathtaking views. In the large garden you will always find a place to completely unwind. Upstairs you will find two spacious bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds. Bed, bath and kitchen linen are included in the price.
Le Grand Duc is located in the 'parc naturel régional du Livradois forez', from the house you can make beautiful walks through the woods. Walking routes can be found in the house.

In the "Parc Naturel Régional Livradois-Forez", our house is located at an altitude of 1000 metres. This protected nature reserve has a very rich flora and fauna. You may encounter a deer, fox or other game while walking. In season, you can find many edible mushrooms here, but you can also pick blackberries to your heart's content. The area is ideal for hiking and mountain biking, but you can also go canoeing on the Allier nearby. 10 minutes from the holiday home you will find a swimming lake. In the house you will find information on hiking trails, which you can make from the house. The Haute-Loire has a rich history, such as the pilgrimage town of Le Puy en Velay, closer at 15 minutes away is La Chaise Dieu, famous for its music festival. But the many markets and flea markets in the area are also worth a visit.

Heerlijk huis en tuin - met verschillende zitjes - om tot rust te komen, boek(en) te lezen, te genieten van de rust, de vogels, een heldere sterrenhemel, en natuurlijk het geweldige uitzicht. Ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzame eigenaren. Écht een aanrader!
