The house
Le Petit Duc is a gite for 2 people. This gite will surprise you with its special layout. You can completely relax here. Outside, you will find a private terrace with a canopy next to two old apple trees. You can enjoy a wonderful view while listening to the concert of the many birds that sing their song for you. And when night falls, you will be surprised by the beautiful starry sky and imagine yourself in paradise.
When you enter the cottage, you enter a hallway with a staircase leading to the bedroom with a double bed (180x200). There is also an ensuite bathroom with Italian shower, washbasin and toilet.
When you walk upstairs, you enter the spacious living room with open kitchen. Here you will find a nice sitting area, a dining area and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is equipped with all you need to enjoy cooking. The kitchen is separated from the living room by a small bar, where you can sit comfortably.

Activities
In the "Parc Naturel Régional Livradois-Forez", our house is located at an altitude of 1000 metres. This protected nature reserve has very rich flora and fauna. You may encounter a deer, fox or other game while walking. In season, you can find many edible mushrooms here, but you can also pick blackberries to your heart's content. The area is ideal for hiking and mountain biking, but you can also go on a canoe trip on the Allier nearby. 10 minutes from the holiday home you will find a swimming lake. In the house you will find information on hiking trails, which you can make from the house. The Haute-Loire has a rich history, such as the pilgrimage town of Le Puy en Velay, closer at 15 minutes away is La Chaise Dieu, famous for its music festival. But the many markets and flea markets in the area are also worth a visit
