The house
The Chalet is located on Lake Annecy in Glière (com.Doussard) on a large plot of about 2000m2 on a private road with a dozen houses, where only local traffic comes. From the partially covered balcony there is an impressive view of the lake and the mountains behind. The house has 3 bedrooms and a 1 mezzanine ( a trundle bed with 2 beds 90x200cm)). On the ground floor there is a spacious studio (23m2) with doors opening onto the loggia overlooking the lake (2-4 beds), where you will also find the laundry kitchen and a separate bathroom with toilet. On the first floor, reached via the garage or the external staircase, there is the spacious living room with dining room (34m2) and French doors to the partially covered balcony. Here is connection to the bedroom(14m2) which also with French doors provides fantastic views of the lake. There is another bedroom(12m2) with 1 trundle bed and a bunk bed (sleeps up to 4). On this floor there is also a separate toilet, a bathroom and a chalet-style fully equipped kitchen. The house is suitable for up to 8 people. As the loft as a bedroom is more suitable for children, for comfort reasons we recommend occupancy by no more than 6 adults.

There is ample parking for several cars. The garden is largely enclosed and offers complete privacy. A small forest area with a treehouse adds to the romance. In summer from mid-May onwards, you can take a dip in the lake by walking 150 metres downhill directly from our chalet, crossing the road to the jetty and grassy area along the lake or from the many child-friendly beaches.

Mooi chalet met een adembenemend uitzicht op het meer van Annecy. Het chalet is van alle gemakken voorzien, is erg ruim en heeft veel privacy door de grote tuin. Een aanrader voor iedereen!

Wij, pensionado's, hebben met onze zoon wederom een prima vakantie genoten. De afgelopen 30 jaar hebben wij met ons gezin in dit chalet verschillende malen onze vakantie gevierd , waardoor het ook deze keer weer een gevoel van thuiskomen gaf. VIVALDI is een authentiek chalet met prachtig houtwerk , een groot balkon met schitterend uitzicht op het meer. en een grote tuin met veel privacy. Mooi dat de eigenaren de altijd al complete uitrusting toch weer van nieuwe zaken voorzien hebben. Verder biedt het meer van Annecy en zijn omgeving zeer veel ontspanningsmogelijkheden.

We hebben samen met onze 2 kinderen een heel leuke vakantie gehad in deze mooie chalet. De chalet is praktisch ingericht , heeft goede bedden en een heerlijk balkon met prachtig uitzicht op de bergen en het meer. De mooie tuin is helemaal omheind wat voor onze hond ideaal was. Mooie omgeving met ruim aanbod aan wandelingen en sportactiviteiten. Vlakbij een strandje wat voor de kinderen heel leuk was. Vlotte communicatie met de eigenaars.
We hopen in de toekomst nog eens terug te keren!

Many villages in the area have their colourful weekly markets, a vide grenier or brocante in the season.
You can enjoy French cuisine, refined and/or regional dishes in the many restaurants by the lake or in the mountains.
Activities
All mentioned activities are within a very short distance from the chalet. Annecy, the Venice of France is 20 minutes drive, along beautiful villages on the lake. With the available maps there are beautiful easy and tough walks in the Bauges (Unesco Natural Area), the Aravis, the Baufortain and the area near Mont Blanc The region is a paradise for cyclists. A large part of the cyclable track, directly accessible from the house, goes along the lake. There is a family kayak and bicycles are at guests' disposal. There are 2 golf courses within 10 minutes driving distance (Golf de Giez and Golf de Talloires). For winter sports the fine family ski resorts of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz are within 40 minutes and the ski resorts of Les Saisies and Mégève within 60 minutes. When there is a lot of snow, the little ones can ski in Montmin within 20 minutes.

Further remarks
The train station in Annecy can be reached within 20 minutes (TGV). Geneva airport (Cointrin) is within 1 hour.

The rental price, as stated, is independent of the number of persons and does not include the price for electrical energy.
In high season the changeover day is Friday. On changeover days arrival is from 16.30 and departure before 09.30 at the latest.
Deposit 400 euro per stay.
Final cleaning obligatory 140,00 euro per stay.
For electricity we charge 35 cents per KWh, deducted from the deposit.
The linen (bath-bed and kitchen linen) must be brought by the tenants themselves.
There are only single beds.
