The house
Wonderful Detached Cabin / Holiday Home with private garden with plenty of activities nearby.
Authentic wooden cabin on a secure 4* Campsite.
Good sized open plan living room / kitchen / dinning with sofabed and sitting area with TV (French channels only).
The kitchen is well equipped with a an electric hob, a microwave / grill, a standard size fridge-freezer and a dishwasher
2 bedrooms - 1 double room and 1 twin room sleeping up to 4 people + additional sofabed in lounge area (whch can covert to two single beds or a double). Separate toilet. Shower room with shower cubicle, sink and top loading washing machine.
Private garden, small terrace with table and 4 chairs for outdoor dining. Other equipment include :- 2 sun loungers, a medium size parasol, a small classic webber BBQ as well as a small garden shed at the rear of the cabin for storing your equipment / bikes etc
Private parking space for 2 cars infront of the cabin .

Our cabin is located on the family-friendly 4 * Campsite of La Nubliere, in Doussard.
The secure site has excellent facilities, including a children's play area, outdoor fitness equipment, a new swimming complex, football / basketball court. Public WiFi (available at the reception)
Direct access to the lake and the port of Doussard (200 meters). Our cabin has a very quiet location with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
There are many activities available in the immediate area, but we highly recommend that you bring your bikes and explore the area. A trip around the lake by bicycle, car or boat should also not be missed.

Mooi chalet op korte afstand van het meer, waar we lekker hebben gezwommen.Chalet is rustig gelegen, met veel ruimte rondom. Je kan gebruik maken van de faciliteiten van de camping, oa.voetbalkooi, springkussen, speeltuintje, buiten fitness. Elke dag vers stokbrood uit campingwinkel. We hebben 2 heerlijkheden gehad.

Restaurants, food & wine
There are so many great restaurants to choose from both nearby or around the lake.. There are 4 (well-priced) restaurants within walking distance of the cabin.
The local supermarket also offers take away food and there are a number of excellent take-away pizza restaraunts only a few minutes drive from site
Activities
There are numerous activities available in the immediate area, these include: - boating, swimming, water sports, paragliding, scuba diving, water skiing / wake boarding, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, tennis, fishing, horseback riding and much more. The port is a very short walk from the cabin and also offers sailing, windsurfing and boat rentals including paddle-boards.
We can also offer "boat rental" with a private captain (on request)
Our boat is a fully registered / insured MasterCraft NXT 20 pleasure boat, perfect for a great time on the lake.

Further remarks
Our cabin can be rented from late April through too late September. We recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment, especially in peak season. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information or even a quote.
The rental price indicated through Gites website does not include local taxes (Tax De Sejour) this local charge is set by the local town hall and is charged at the rate of 0,60€ per person per night. This charge must be paid on your last day day of your stay / before you depart and is declared online to the local tax office by us on a weekly basis.
Wifi / Internet
The campsite does have a paid internet / wifi system and tickets can be purchased at reception, howver the signal around the cabins is generally week and in high season the internet connection is saturated due to the volume of people using it. 4 and 5G mobile conections are also a problem in high season!
We are able to offer our guests a private and secure internet conection via Starlink. Starlink is a satolite based internet system and therefore is much more stable than the campsite. A private connection is available but at an additional cost per the week. (please note that some brief outages are inevitable and these are out of our control) For more details and price please ask at the time of enquirey

Cleaning is not provided and we expect our guests to clean the cabin both during your stay and ensure you leave the chalet as you find it - Clean and Tidy!
We do supply a small selection of cleaning products for you to use as well as a hoover, mops brushes etc. Please be sure to empty hoovers, mop buckets etc before you leave. On the day of departure the chalet must be clean and tidy by 10hrs 00 and you MUST advise reception of your planned leaving time as they will come to check that everything is in order before you leave.
