The house
A large living/dining room, a kitchen (gas/electric), 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6, extra beds possible), 2 toilets, a bathroom with bath, and a cellar with a ping-pong table.
A large and sunny balcony, as well as a terrace in the garden (1400m )
An outside storage room for supplies, skis, etc.
Furthermore, there is satellite TV, Internet, telephone, a washing machine, linen and towels.
The heating is electric and there is also a powerful wood-burning stove for sufficient warmth in winter. Firewood is readily available.
In the basement there is a working snowplough (uses 2-stroke petrol).

In the hamlet Roseires d'Amont, at 980m altitude in the Alps of the south-eastern department of Haute-Savoie (France), you will find our attractive, detached chalet (sleeps 6). In the spacious garden of 3000 m2 you will find many places to sit and relax and for the children to play freely. From the garden and from the chalet the view on Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) is phenomenal.
In the summer you are within 10 minutes by car in the cooling fresh water of the lake and in winter you are within a few minutes by car on the slopes.
The Haute-Savoie is a department of mountains and lakes and is known for its possibilities for summer and winter sports. The ski area Les Portes du Soleil is with 650 km the largest ski area in the world, and the lakes of Geneva and Annecy are known as two of the most beautiful and cleanest lakes in Europe.
The chalet is located about 10km from Thonon les Bains, Evian and Lake Geneva, and 40km from Geneva city (good air connection with Amsterdam).
For fresh croissants and delicious espresso you can go to the local bakery in Bernex (2km). At 10 minutes you will find a supermarket for daily shopping (Vinzier).

Wij zijn een kleine 3 weken hier geweest en hebben het bijzonder goed gehad. Wat een heerlijk rustige plek, geweldige omgeving met fantastisch uitzicht. Er zijn ruime wandelmogelijkheden met zeer goede bewegwijzering in de buurt. Leuke marktjes in de buurt en in onze periode ook opvallend veel rommelmarkten kunnen bezoeken.
Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een geslaagde vakantie. Ruime slaapkamers, grote tuin, mooi balkon, groot souterrain met spelletjes en ping-pong. Ik snap de eerdere opmerking over het zitgedeelte, maar wij zaten juist heel lekker op het bed/bank. Wil je een mooi huis op een prachtige plek met een bijzonder aantrekkelijke prijs-kwaliteitverhouding zit je hier goed.Margot from Heemstede,
Een heel fijn chalet om een week te verblijven. Heerlijke houtkachel voor de warmte, keuken met alles om goed te koken (wel zelf afwassen), en slaapkamers met goede dekbedden en matrassen. Grote eettafel. Misschien zou zitgedeelte iets beter kunnen, stoelen zijn voor grote mensen niet heel comfortabel en er staat een bed dat gebruikt wordt als bank met veel kussens. Prachtig uitzicht op Lac Léman. In deze Kerstweek geen sneeuw en groene weides op 1000m hoogte. Wel prima gewandeld in omgeving chalet. Je kan ook direct vanuit huis wandelen. Kortom hele gemoedelijke plek om te verblijven.

The rent is:
1 December 2023 - 1 April 2024. € 900 per week (Saturday - Saturday)
1 April 2024 - 1 June 2024 € 575 per week (Saturday - Saturday)
1 June 2024 - 1 September 2024 € 650 per week (Saturday - Saturday)
1 September 2024 - 1 December 2024. € 550 per week (Saturday - Saturday)
Per night longer (if possible) or shorter: depending on season
Per stay (regardless of duration): € 75 cleaning and washing
Payment:
At final booking: € 250.
Of this, € 150 deposit (to be refunded immediately in case of cancellation more than two weeks before use or after leaving the chalet as agreed) and € 100 prepayment.
The remaining amount (booking - € 100) must be transferred two weeks before use of the chalet.
