We've recently bought and refurbished the house and turned it into a cosy place with a soul.
The ground floor is this 48 m² flat that we offer for rent: 1 bedroom with 2 beds (very good bedding), shower room, small well-equipped kitchen, large living room with sofa bed for 2 people.
Electric heater in bedroom.
Appliances: hob, traditional hybrid oven and microwave, hand blender, toaster, electric kettle, Senseo-compatible coffee machine, raclette machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
Deckchairs and poufs on the terrace.
Board games, reading material for children, books.
High-speed fibre-optic wi-fi internet access. 80 cm HDMI screen with Google TV.
Other equipment available on request:
- childcare equipment (baby bath, cot, changing mat, WC reducer, potty),
- gas barbecue,
- outdoor games (pétanque, Mölkky, spikeball, etc.).
ℹ This equipment is shared between the 2 accommodations and must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance if you wish to use it.
This gîte is located below the "maison" gîte (also open for rental). If this is also occupied, you may experience some noise from neighbours. This should be kept to a minimum, as we always ask our guests to behave discreetly and respectfully.
Shared 2000 m² garden, with a caravan used as a children's hut.

A peaceful mountain hamlet with magnificent views of the Grandes Roches in the Chartreuse and the Belledonne massif.
Cool and mosquito-free in summer!
There's plenty to do nearby (fun outdoor facilities, tobogganing and introductory downhill skiing at the Col de Marcieu, restaurants in Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet, panoramic spa at the Col de Marcieu, bulk and organic grocery shop in Saint-Bernard-du-Touvet, local goat's cheese and honey producers, microbrewery), hiking trails (starting from the house) and cycling, cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing... not forgetting the famous paragliding spots in Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet!
Facilities in the neighbouring village of Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet (Petit Casino, bakery, pharmacy, petrol station).
All this less than 5 minutes away by car, and sometimes a 10-minute walk along the footpaths!
And there's a really great atmosphere on the plateau with very friendly people.
The famous 7 Laux ski resort is less than 40 minutes away by car.
