The house
The garden and private entrance are at the back of the farmhouse, privacy assured (Nature cottage 20095, with entrance at the front, is in a separate part of the farmhouse). The cottage has a toilet and a bathroom with sink/shower. There is a (smart) TV, a DVD player and a radio with CD player. Kitchen with, among others, a 4-burner gas stove, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, microwave, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. The upper floor has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two beds (all 2 metres long). Bed linen and kitchen linen included (only bring your own shower/bathroom towels). High-speed internet. Small book/DVD collection. Energy surcharge when using central heating (max €12.50 p/d). Rental outside the indicated period is possible, please contact first.

The cottage is especially suitable for people who love peace and nature. Unlike most houses from that era (18th/19th century), the farmhouse La Sagnette is completely alone with the first few houses about 500 metres away. Real silence! Complete night-time darkness provides a sharp outline of the Milky Way and a countless number of stars. The house is located at 1040 metres altitude in the Livradois-Forez natural park (municipality of Saint-Germain-L'Herm, department of Puy-de-Dome) This park consists of protected natural landscapes with rich and diverse fauna and flora. Ancient beech forests, spruce forests, hills and volcanoes alternate with wide, green valleys and moors. The area lends itself to lovers of hiking and cycling. In season - September/October - the forests around the house are full of edible mushrooms such as chanterelles and cep. Late summer can be beautiful during this period.
