L' abeille

L'abeille is a quietly located detached house with a private pool and an enclosed garden where pets are welcome. The ground floor consists of a TV room of about 30m2. This room can be heated by a wood-burning stove, but also by an electric heater. There is a corner sofa, Dutch reading books/games and a screen you can cast to from your own device with apps like KPN, Ziggo, Netflix etc. There is free internet through wifi.
The kitchen diner is fully equipped. There is a dishwasher, a Quooker and an original French cooker (Godin).
You can cook on this appliance on gas, the ovens work on electric. The kitchen is equipped with enough kitchen utensils for extensive cooking. There are Dutch cookbooks for inspiration.
Bathroom 1 (approx. 6 m2) has a bath with shower, double washbasin, toilet and a washing machine. Bathroom 2 has a double sink, a walk-in rain shower and a toilet.
The house has 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed, which can be separated into two single beds on request.
For the cold months, all rooms have electric heating. In the summer months, the thick walls block the heat from outside.

The utility room gives access to the veranda and the fenced garden with swimming pool facing south. On the veranda there is a large dining table with seating for 8 people and a lounge table for afternoon drinks or a nightcap. For the colder evenings, there is a butane gas-fired patio heater. For lovers of wood-fired pizza, there is also a home-made pizza oven under the veranda.

In the garden (about 1500 m2) is a fenced swimming pool of about 10 x 4 m2 with a depth of 0.5 to 2 metres, surrounded by a stone terrace with sun loungers. There is a solar outdoor shower. The pool is not heated and open from May until the end of September. On the hill next to the pool is a large bench with a fire pit in the middle for a fire or bbq. The garden is completely fenced.

Pets are welcome, except in the sleeping quarters and the swimming pool.

Good to know that from the start of Covid this is our way of working:
Payment takes place a week before departure and in the unlikely event that the booking still has to be cancelled due to Covid-19 measures, we simply refund the money. The fact that the holiday cannot go ahead is bad enough in that case :)
