The house
Animal-friendly house with large garden, terraces, barbecue and boules court.
On the edge of the forest, the former sheepfold 'La Canarde' (early 19th century) offers stunning views over the valley. The house itself is comfortable, authentic and stylishly decorated. You will find 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for 6 people. This makes the house suitable for families or groups of friends.
Behind the house you will find a large bocce court. There is a lovely enclosed garden of 2500 m² with several terraces, where you can sit and relax. In consultation, the gardener will come by for garden work.
The manager of La Canarde lives 500m away. Your arrival and departure can be arranged with him in consultation.

We zijn inmiddels weer thuis en genieten nog na van een heerlijke vakantie in uw prachtige huis. Alles was naar wens, de ruimte in en rond het huis, de ruime uitrusting en de geweldige ligging. Wie weet zouden we een volgende keer graag nog eens terugkomen.M. Braams from Oostvoorne,
Een mooi huis met een schitterend uitzicht en prachtige goed onderhouden geaccidenteerde tuin, die geheel omheind is, wat fijn is voor de honden. Wij bleken de eerste huurders van het jaar en helaas was nog niet alles in orde binnen. Een paar dagen zonder elektriciteit in de grote badkamer en het toilet beneden moest met een kraantje worden bediend. E.e.a. is in de loop vd week opgelost, behalve het toilet (laatste dag). Er bleek te weinig tuinmeubilair aanwezig ( 2 tuinstoelen, waarvan 1 kapot), 2 vervuilde ligbedden. Heb aangegeven aan beheerder, dat dat voor 6 personen te weinig is. Geen placemats aanwezig, aan te raden die mee te nemen. Voorts prima voorziene keuken qua apparatuur. Slaapkamer/ badkamers niet erg schoon. Desalniettemin hebben wij een heerlijke week beleefd. En de tuin en het uitzicht maakten heel veel goed.

‘Werkelijk een prachtig huis. Mooi gerestaureerd en een fantastisch uitzicht.
Grote geaccidenteerde tuin rondom het huis. Het huis ligt volkomen vrij dus met veel privacy. Het grenst aan de rand van de bossen. Doordat de tuin goed omheind is, ook ideaal voor honden. Vriendelijke ontvangst.’
Activities
This holiday home is in the midst of the great wine regions of Burgundy (including the Côte d'Or, the Mâconnais and the Beaujolais). It is close to medieval towns such as Cluny, Cormatin, Macon and - further north - Autun and Beaune. Lyon is 70 km away. Taizé is just a 10-minute drive away.
At +/- 3 km from the house is an old water mill (Le moulin d'Angoin) with a small 'beach' and running water, where you can swim.
La Canarde is an 8-hour drive from Utrecht.
The holiday home is located a few kilometres from the village of Salornay sur Guye, with a weekly market, a smaller supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, café and a pizzeria.
At 12 kilometres you will find Cluny, known for its former abbey. Cluny has large supermarkets, shops, bistros, terraces, banks and the Saturday market.

For 6 people, this means: 4 fitted sheets of 90x200cm; 1 fitted sheet of 180x200cm; 6 duvet covers of 140x200; 6 pillowcases of 60x70cm

4. There are three parking spaces in front of the house. Cars are not allowed on the property.
5. There is a tourist/accommodation tax of 0.90 euros per person per night. This is not included.
6. Deposit is €300 payable in advance - will be refunded < 2 weeks after departure provided there is no damage
