Le Petit Manoir

The site “Manoir du Bourg” comprises three stunning 17th-century properties, steeped in history and located in the centre of the village of Saint Helen. It consists of three stone -built properties with many original features including beams and old fireplaces.
The properties can be booked as all three houses or as single units (more details follow).
Rented all together, they can accommodate 22 guests in total from May to the end of August. During September and October total capacity is 18 guests.
The properties provide luxury accommodation for families, groups of friends or individuals looking for something a little bit special.
The 3 properties are situated in a grassy, landscaped courtyard. The owners, Laure and David live on site.
Le Manoir, can be booked in 2 main configurations, depending on the season and the number of guests.
• in July/August: configured for 12 persons
• in May/June: either for 12 or 8 persons
• in low season (Sept/October): only available for 8 persons, a smaller configuration (and hence warmer!). All the bedrooms are on 1st floor (the top floor is closed) This specific configuration is called “Le Petit Manoir”.
Le Petit Manoir (sleeps 8)
The cottage has its own enclosed private garden, and an outside seating area for “al-fresco” dining and also relaxing chairs and parasol. A private charcoal BBQ completes the outside equipment.
The front door leads from the pretty courtyard directly to a superbly fitted kitchen with its lovely wooden dining table, seating 8 guests. It has a large cooker with gas hob and electric oven. There is a dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer, and all the appliances you may need for your breakfast (toaster, kettle, coffee machine), even an extra espresso machine (for use with either coffee beans or powder). The property has a blender and hand- held whisk.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the spacious, comfortable living area with plenty of seating for relaxing. There is a large fireplace for those cooler evenings.
On the ground floor, there is also a third shower room and WC next to the lounge.
In the lounge is a "smart" satellite TV, UK and French channels and a DVD and board games
The first- floor accommodation (4 bedrooms), is accessed by a staircase leading up from the lounge. All bedrooms are located on the 1st floor as follows:
On the left side of the stairs are 2 double bedrooms, 1 children’s bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 shower room, 1 separate WC
On the right side is the Master king size bedroom with its private shower room and WC. It may be possible to add a childrens’ bed (under 12 years) into this room.
