The house
This holiday home consists of 2 floors. On the ground floor is the living room with wood-burning stove and an open-plan kitchen with all amenities. The couch in the living room can be used as an (extra) sleeping place and can be folded out as a sofa bed. Both upstairs and downstairs there is also an electric heater.
On the first floor is the double bedroom and the bathroom. The bathroom is heated by a heater. The bed has an Ikea mattress. Quilts and pillows can be found in the large chest of drawers.
There is currently no washing machine and no internet yet, but fibre optic has recently become available and I am working on it.
There is a large garden with a shed where you can use the bikes.

The site is in a hamlet 4km from the village of Pruniers. The hamlet consists of 15 houses, 5 of which are permanently occupied. It is quiet and rural. You will not hear any traffic and it is dark at night. It is possible to spot squirrels, deer or foxes.

In Chateauxroux you can eat well, including vegetarian, La Pasta is highly recommended.
Activities
It is a wonderfully peaceful area. There are many activities to undertake in the area such as canoeing in Chateauroux, visiting castles, gardens and museums in the nearby cities (Chateauxroux, Bourges, Le Chartre), walking or cycling on marked routes (the info and itineraries are available in the house) but it is also lovely to relax in the garden of the house.

Cleaning is carried out by the tenant. If it is found by subsequent tenants that the house is not clean, the deposit will be retained and the new tenants will receive a 25 euro discount on the rent.
