The house
Le Bretzel is a spacious, bright tastefully decorated loft, located in the heart of Ribeauvillé between cosy terraces and restaurants offering delicious typical dishes.
The apartment has an open kitchen with cooker, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Senseo and coffee machine, toaster...
Fully renovated bathroom with shower, toilet separate. Washing machine/dryer available, hairdryer. There is a separate bedroom with a double bed of 160 cm/200 cm and above the living room there is a mezzanine (open sleeping area) also with a double bed (140 cm/190 cm) opening onto the living room. A baby bed and chair are available on request. TV and DVD player, films, books, games and internet available.
Ideal for a couple with 2 children who want a great holiday on the Route du vin d'Alsace, at the foot of the Vosges mountains.

There is little chance of you being bored here. From the flat you are within walking distance in the vineyards where you can walk to our castles, the forest and also to Bergheim and Hunawihr.
During the winter you can ski or snowboard uninhibited on the slopes of the ski resort Le Lac Blanc, only 30 km from Ribeauvillél.
Art and history lovers will certainly enjoy the historic cities such as Colmar and Strasbourg and the surrounding villages such as Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and Equisheim.
Ribeauvillé also has 2 swimming pools (1 indoor, 1 outdoor). There is a casino and for the children we have Cigoland in Selestat, the stork park in Hunawihr, the butterfly park, the monkey park and also a raptor park so there is something for everyone.

Wat een warm welkom door Nadja en Guy in een fantastisch appartement (le Tokay)! Alles is aanwezig, zelfs meer dan verwacht. Ruim appartement, zeer schoon en heerlijke bedden. Eigenlijk in het centrum, maar in een rustige straat. Alles bevindt zich op loopafstand. De omgeving is eveneens geweldig, wij komen hier vast nog eens terug!

Een appartement prachtig gelegen in pittoresk dorp. Uitstekende (nieuwe) voorzieningen maken het plezier alleen maar groter om hier te verblijven. Zeer schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien en ideale uitvalsbasis voor allerlei uitstapjes. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren.

We hebben 2 heerlijke (zeer warme) weken gehad in de gite Le Bretzel in Ribeauvillé. De gite is van alle gemakken voorzien, leuk ingericht en erg schoon! Guy en Nadja zijn zeer gastvrije, hartelijke mensen van wie wij leuke tips ontvingen m.b.t. uitstapjes in de omgeving. Bij aankomst stond er een lekker flesje wijn klaar en een trommeltje zelfgebakken cakejes! De omgeving is prachtig en de dorpjes zijn schitterend!. Onze kinderen hebben nog nooit zoveel ooievaars gezien! (-:

Lac Blanc is a ski resort with 15 runs from green to black, and is easily accessible by car from Ribeauvillé. You can hire all equipment on site.
Restaurants, food & wine
Here you are definitely in the right place when it comes to wine and good food. Ribeauvillé is situated on the 'Route de Vin' and is surrounded by winegrowers who will let you enjoy a glass of wine in their cellars. You can also taste the typical Alsatian meals here. Especially the Munster cheese cannot be missed here.
In September, we have the 'festival médieval' Pfifferdaj which attracts 20,000 visitors from all over the world every year. And not to forget our famous Christmas markets in December.
Activities
You are also in the right place when it comes to activities. You can visit the butterfly garden, the monkey park, the raptor show or the stork park. Ribeauvillé has 2 lovely swimming pools, suitable for young and old, and since recently you can let yourself be pampered in the new complex with massage, hot water baths and adapted treatments. The more daring can try their luck in the cosy casino. From here, you can also go to Europapark (50 km), which will certainly delight the children. The little ones can enjoy the playground in the park while the parents amuse themselves with a game of pétanque. 200 metres further on there is the cinema Rex, so you see, there is something for everyone....

Minimum 3 nights.
Beds are made on arrival, towels for each, kitchen towels provided, internet connection free of charge. Final cleaning is charged (80€ per stay) but we ask you to treat our flat with respect and do the minimum of cleaning. (dishes done and in place, clean sanitary facilities, all used appliances back at their destination...).
A deposit of 200€ is required upon arrival, which will be refunded to you in the week AFTER DEPARTURE by bank transfer.
