This home is ideally positioned within the Golden Triangle, the most sought-after and iconic region of the Dordogne Valley. Known for its UNESCO heritage villages, breathtaking scenery, rich history, and world-class gastronomy, the area offers an unparalleled concentration of cultural treasures:
Castelnaud-la-Chapelle: Your base village, crowned by the imposing Château de Castelnaud, overlooks the Dordogne River and is alive with medieval charm.

Set on a quiet hillside overlooking the serene Vallon de la Céou, the property welcomes you with a warm, elegant ambiance, designed for slow living and effortless comfort.

A spacious open-plan lounge and dining area filled with natural light and rustic beams.

A well-equipped modern kitchen with many appliances, everything needed for preparing local feasts from the markets of Sarlat.
Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 (Master Suite): Zip and link King-size bed with en-suite bathroom, luxurious linens and striking artwork sourced by the owners on their worldly travels.
Bedroom 2: King-size bed, beautifully styled with soft linen and warm tones and cathedral ceilings.
Bedroom 3: King- sized bed, stylishly furnished with exceptionally high beamed ceilings.
Each room is designed to create a calming, restful atmosphere, featuring premium bedding, blackout curtains or blinds and thoughtful touches.

Availability & Booking
Vue sur le Vallon is available for 5 day bookings from April through June, then in September and October. Longer stays or off-season lets available upon request. In July and August it is offered with it's sister property Vue sul la Prairie (2 bed) combined, allowing to accommodate larger groups up to 10 people.

La Source in Castelnaud la Chapelle (5 min) tel 05 53 30 14 27. €14-24 per person, has outdoor seating, serves traditional French cuisine, vegetarian dishes, great wine and cocktails.
Au Chalet Gourmand in Vezac (7 min) tel 09 63 65 15 33. €25-40 per person. Has outdoor seating. Traditional Perigourdine cuisine and exceptional steak.

La Table de Monrecour in Saint-Vincent-de Cosse – another firm favourite of ours! (14 min) Tel 05 53 28 33 59. This gourmet restaurant is housed in a contemporary extension at the heart of this estate overlooking the Périgord countryside where hot air balloons occasionally take off. It is furnished in a classical style and reflects modern culinary tendencies with the skilfully prepared and flavoursome dishes.
