The house
La Bagatelle is a characteristic holiday home more than 200 years old. Since 2025, a large living kitchen (28 square metres) with cooking island has been realised. In this attractive and modern kitchen you will find everything for (extensive) cooking, a dishwasher, large fridge and separate freezer, a good oven and a 4-burner induction hob with integrated extractor. A long table offers plenty of room for everyone to sit down, play games or enjoy a nice glass of wine.
Also on the ground floor is the cosy living room of 29 square metres with many authentic elements, including a wood-burning stove for a cool evening. Since 2025, la Bagatelle has a third bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed. Bathroom 1 with shower and toilet is on the ground floor.
On the first floor is the second bathroom with bath and two sinks. The toilet is separate. The master bedroom of 21 square metres has a beautiful beamed ceiling, as does the bedroom with 3 twin beds. There is an enclosed garden with large closed wooden gate and you enjoy a generous view. La Bagatelle consists of an ensemble; the owner's house is nearby. Both houses have their own garden and terrace, so privacy is guaranteed. The owner's house is used by the family as a holiday home and is therefore not always occupied.

La Bagatelle is located in the hamlet of Finsac on a dead-end road. Here you can enjoy the silence and, on a clear night, a beautiful starry sky. 5 km away is the bustling town of Saint Cyprien where you can do all your shopping, have a lively market on Sunday mornings, find cosy terraces and lots of places to eat. The beautiful town of Sarlat is 15 km away, as is les Eyzies de Tayac, the place with many prehistoric caves. The Dordogne River is a 10-minute drive away, where you can swim, lie on a beach and, of course, hire canoes.

In the Dordogne, you can eat delicious food everywhere and of course this is a wine region par excellence with many wine chateaus in the area. In summer, in many places you can join long tables to taste the many specialities; marche nocturne.

There is a lot to do, see and experience in this part of the Dordogne. Walking and meeting no one, cycling on old railway tracks or in the hills and woods, playing golf on various courses in the area, swimming in the Dordogne river, in lakes or a swimming pool, canoeing, visiting castles in the immediate vicinity, visiting caves, culture, good food and many beautiful old places. There are also interesting things for children to do, such as airpark, dino park, aquarium, an outdoor museum and much more.

Do you own an electric car? Charging is possible in several places in the village of Saint Cyprien. You will understand that it is not the intention to charge your car at the house itself.
