The house
Le Coderc is a spacious Périgord-style house for up to 8 people, with an (above-ground) swimming pool and is fully equipped. There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms, three toilets, two fridges, dishwasher and besides underfloor heating it also has a wood-burning stove.
Wifi (free) available. TV with Ned. channels. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and have their own shower facilities. One of the bedrooms has its own toilet, the other toilet is in the corridor. Upstairs is the third shower and the third toilet. Each bedroom also has its own washing facilities. The tasteful kitchen is excellently equipped: six-burner cooker with double oven, coffee maker, large fridge, dishwasher. Kitchen linen provided (bath and bed linen for rent on request, see site). In the utility room there is a second fridge and a microwave. Large cosy sitting room, open to the kitchen. Beautiful large fireplace with wood stove. The swimming pool (7.30 x 3.60 ) is out of sight from the terrace. Views over the surrounding hills and in the evening you can see the wildlife passing by.

Les Eyzies (distance to the medieval town of Sarlat is 20 min.) is located in the Perigord-noir and is the capital of Prehistory, with many interesting caves and museums to visit. The area is wooded, with gently rolling hills and beautiful views. There are many tourist villages and towns and nice big and smaller markets to visit. There are also several restaurants in the area, in all price ranges.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit prachtige huis. Het huis is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Lekker zwembad om af te koelen en een mooi bos naast de deur om een wandeling in te maken. Zeer rustig gelegen op een heuvel en toch liggen bijna alle grote bezienswaardigheden van de Dordogne binnen een half uurtje rijden. Chiel en Janine zijn zeer aardig en behulpzaam en maken het verblijf helemaal af. Top! Dit was ons eerste bezoek, maar zeker niet het laatste!

Prachtig huis op een vooral bijzondere locatie. Boven op een berg in een klein Frans gehucht en net buiten de toeristische locaties van de Dordogne. Huis is van alle gemakken voorzien (ruim, koel, sfeervol en een ruim zwembad) en vanuit hier kan men prachtige wandelingen of mooie fietstochten maken. De natuur is geweldig, de herten in de tuin, de vossen en dassen in de buurt en ook everzwijnen zijn te zien als je weet waar te zoeken. Chiel en Janine zijn behulpzaam en aardig, en geven tips indien gewenst. We herrinneren ons vooral de prachtige avonden op het terras, de mooie vergezichten en de rust en stilte in de buurt. Voor wie op zoek is naar het eerlijke Franse leven op het platteland, en toch af en toe de toeristische attracties van de Dordogne wilt bezoeken: een absolute aanrader. Wij gaan zeker een voor een vierde keer terug......

Wij hebben hier 3 geweldige weken gehad.heerlijke rustige locatie ,prachtig gelegen tegenover een bosrand waaruit s'avonds de herten voorbij kwamen.
De inrichting is top!Het ontbreekt aan niets.bedden liggen prima.
Giel en Jeanine zijn altijd bereid om te helpen, heerlijke mensen.
Zelfs stroomstoringen worden verholpen,niets is hun teveel.
