The house
This beautiful and spacious single storey house, located in the magnificent region of Perigord Noir near the castles of Castelnaud-Fayrac, Beynac, Laroque-Gageac, Sarlat, Milandes and Domme will satisfy you with its equipment.
Living room with a three-seater sofa and two matching armchairs, a coffee corner for two people near the fireplace (decorative), a new kitchen (2018) with a ventilated fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a four-burner gas cooker and electric oven, a table for eight people and a microwave on request. Six extra chairs are available in the bedrooms if required.
There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and a washbasin and the other with a shower, two washbasins, a toilet and a washing machine.
The house has two bedrooms, each with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds and two bedrooms with a single bed. Two cots and a high chair are available for very young children.
A wooden terrace with a table and six chairs on the sunrise side for breakfast, doubled by another hard terrace with a table and six chairs for other meals near the pool, which is 66 square meters plus a beach of about 80 square meters, is protected by a metal security fence and two doors with keys if necessary.

The property is situated in a quiet location on the grounds of an old trout farm which I hope to revive, in the most beautiful part of the Dordogne. You can go for beautiful walks directly from the house and in the immediate vicinity you will find the picturesque medieval towns of Domme and Sarlat with its pleasant Saturday market and terraces. The rivers Ceou and Dordogne and the castles Catselnaud, Beynac, Montfort and many others are only a few kilometres away. You can also visit many natural or prehistoric caves such as Lascaux, about forty kilometres away, the sites and museum of prehistory at Les Eyzies, Padirac, Rocamadour, the caves of Lacave and so many others are within a radius of less than 50 kilometres. Walking paths abound. Leisure activities also abound, bicycles, canoes on the Dordogne, horse riding etc... You have everything you need to spend a very pleasant holiday. If you like good food, you will find everything you need in this region. Maigret de canard, gesiers, cabécou cheese and walnut cake are well known regional dishes. And let's not forget the wines, the black wine of the Cahor region, the wine of Domme and Bergerac.

Trout fishing is available on site (for a fee).
In the surrounding area you can go horse riding, canoeing, cycling, hiking and visit prehistoric caves. There are many adventure parks for children.

In the village there is, among other things, an organic shop and a pizzeria. There is a bakery in Castelnaud (2 km).
Large supermarkets can be found in Cenac (6 km).
