The house
Maison La Perle d'Or is a detached holiday home located on a quiet, cul-de-sac within walking distance from the centre of Sarlat.
Inside you will find a cosy living room with a fireplace, a nice place for the cooler evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, combi oven/microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine.
The house has three comfortable bedrooms, all with hotel-quality box-spring beds. Two rooms have a double box spring (180×200). The third room has two single boxsprings (90×200), which are set up as a double bed, but can also be placed separately on request. One of the bedrooms also has its own washbasin.
In the garden there are several nut and fruit trees, such as figs, pears and apples. Herbs such as rosemary and laurel also grow, with lavender around the house. For children there is a tree swing, lovely in the shade.
Wake up in the morning and enjoy the silence with a cup of coffee, or a cold glass of wine in the sun in the afternoon.
The peace, space and outdoor life complete the picture.

There is plenty to do in and around Sarlat, whether you want to be active or just enjoy the peace and quiet.
The historic centre of Sarlat is at walking distance from the house. Here you will find atmospheric streets, terraces, restaurants and a market several times a week. In summer, there are also evening markets, which makes it extra cosy - and you don't have to worry about parking.
There are many beautiful villages and sights to discover in the area, such as La Roque-Gageac, Domme and Beynac-et-Cazenac.
For those who like to be active, there are plenty of opportunities. You can canoe on the Dordogne river, walk or cycle through nature, or spend a day swimming at Lac de Tamniès, for example.
There are also special trips nearby, such as the impressive Gouffre de Padirac or a visit to Rocamadour.
Whether you want to explore the area or just stay nice and close, everything is within reach.
