The house
An old farm with modern conveniences (internet access, WiFi, LCD television, DVD, top of the range kitchen appliances ...) mixed with the charm of an authentic restoration. In a world where we tend to forget the real vlaues, special attention has been paid to the use of genuine materials such as walls made out of a mixture of sand and chalk, stone tiles, chestnut and poplar wood, and restoration of the roof by using old recovered tiles. The house offers a library with an important collection of regional literature.
On the ground floor a living room of 4 m2 with an open fire and a dining room with an open kitchen fitted with top of the range kitchen appliances.
The rooms of the ground floor give access on one side to an inner yard with two lime trees of more than hundred years of age each, under which breakfast and siesta in the shade can be taken, on the other side there is access to the swimming pool and the gorgeous "Borie" in dry stones ...
For those seeking peace in an exceptional natural environment ...
a private heated pool (10m x 5m) with salt water, behing the house and an astonishing stone hut (Borie), a masterpiece of the old rural architecture of the Perigord and a herb garden with aromatic plants (thyme, laurel, savory, salvia, mint, coriander, basil, chives, parsley, sorrel ...).

For lovers of calm and nature, surrounded by meadows and grove, a beautiful 18th century farmhouse, full of charm, situated overlooking a valley with horses in a fenced meadow along the lodge. A beautiful package offering luxurious comfort with heated salt-water swimming-pool, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The farm is situated right in the center of the Troubadours region, dominated by the famous Castle of Hautefort and the Valley of the river Auvezère, where also the Benedictine Abbey of Tourtoirac from the 11th century is site. The property is situated just 30 km from the famous Lascaux Caves and close to Sarlat, the Dordogne Valley and its famous castles.

Further remarks
All in a restful colour, the curtains are in linen and the beds of high quality. Particular care has been made in the design of the bathrooms : a basin made out of a rock, another fitted in a tree trunk. All the taps are of best quality.

Down payment : 50% at the reservation and the balance one month before arrival.
Guarantee : A guarantee of 1.500 euros is requested, which will be refunded after the inventory of fixtures one day after departure.
Shoud you wish so, we can put cleaning personnel at your disposal for an hourly rate of 22 euros.

Wij zijn hier met onze kinderen geweest. Wat een geweldige ervaring! Zo’n prachtig authentiek huis. Gelegen in een mooie zeer rustige omgeving. Alles was aanwezig in het huis om er een onvergetelijke vakantie van te maken. De gastvrouw Marie Isabelle was er om ons te ontvangen en wegwijs te maken en uitleg te geven. Wat een allerhartelijkste dame is dit. Ook het zwembad was geweldig, wat 3 x per week werd schoongemaakt. Kortom een echte aanrader voor de rustzoeker.

C'est très rare de voir une maison de location aussi raffinée. Tout a été pensé, rien n'a été laissé au hasard, le raffinement est dans tous les détails. C'est une propriété digne d'un magazine de décoration. Nous avons été sous le charme d'une semaine inoubliable. On ne sent pas floué comme c'est le cas très souvent lorsqu'on loue des maisons à la semaine. Que dire de plus ? Merci pour ce séjour.
