The house
Beautiful, detached, completely renovated longère with lovely large swimming pool. Within walking distance of the Dordogne River. Spacious living room with fireplace and luxurious open kitchen, fully equipped and plenty of crockery, pans, glasses, cutlery etc. Suitable for up to 6 persons.
Ground floor: storage room with washing machine and freezer. Kitchen. Separate toilet. Double bedroom with private shower and washbasin. Upper floor 2 bedrooms (1 small room with open connection to the mezzanine and 1 large room) and separate shower with toilet. Mezzanine: (is not an enclosed space) on the mezzanine is a lounge sofa/bed and a television.
Large garden, with shed on 1 hectare of land, the garden is not fenced. Blessed swimming pool 5 x 10 and a lovely outdoor shower with cold and hot water. Also a table football and table tennis table available.
At 5 minutes walk from the village of Trémolat with several restaurants, bakery and 10 minutes walk to the river where you can swim, canoe and water ski (only part of the Dordogne where this is allowed!).
In short: a lovely, cosy and comfortable family holiday home!
Pets are not allowed.
In the early and late season, the swimming pool is closed. The swimming pool is open from the end of May to mid-September. Outside the school holidays it is possible (after consultation) to deviate from the weekly rental.

Situated just outside the lovely, small village of Trémolat, close to the Dordogne (the river is less than 10 minutes walk). There is a train station in Trémolat but is approx 25 minutes walk. Hence a private (rental) car is handy. You can also fly from Amsterdam to Bergerac and then drive to the house in a hired car within 35 minutes.

Wat een heerlijk en privé vakantiehuis. Het uitzicht is prachtig, het huis is mooi ingericht en schoon en de tuin is groot. Wij hebben hier genoten. Het zwembad was fijn en lekker groot, zeker met het mooie weer dat wij hebben gehad. Het dorpje is op 5 minten loopafstand en de pizzeria en de bistro waren top. Wij zijn 2 weken lang in een klein paradijsje geweest.

Heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit smaakvol ingerichte huis. Voor ons een ideale locatie volledig in de rust en stilte met op loopafstand het dorp en de rivier. Het zwembad gaf de nodige verkoeling in de zeer warme dagen. Leuke dorpjes met marktjes in de omgeving bezocht. Hier komen we zeker weer terug.

Wat een heerlijk huis en een heerlijke plek. Aankomen is al een feest met die prachtige Dordogne en de mooie dorpjes. Het huis ligt prachtig. Mooie verstilde plek. Eindeloos lunchen en eten aan de tafel buiten onder de grote boom. Mooie ligbedden bij het zwembad. Het huis zelf is zo smaakvol en gaaf ingericht. Echt een feestje. Alles in de keuken is aanwezig. Woonkamer met een fijne grote eettafel en enorme openhaard.
IN de omgeving prachtige dorpjes en stadjes. En de rivier is vlakbij. Verschillende restaurantjes uitgeprobeerd.

Restaurants, food & wine
Many restaurants in the vicinity. In Trémolat itself a good pizzeria, restaurant for snacks with a cosy bar. Le bistro, a lovely restaurant with French cuisine and Le Vieux Logis, a very luxurious hotel (charming English cottage style) with a starred restaurant. Just outside the village, there is a great living room restaurant 'les Truffières'.
Activities
Very suitable for cycling, walking and water sports. Beautiful old towns in the area with old churches, monasteries and castles. In the summer months, various activities are organised in the many villages, such as dinners at long tables on the village square, brocantes, flea markets and farmers' markets.

Further remarks
There is a lot to do in the surroundings of Trémolat, beautiful old towns, several castles, rivers the Dordogne and Vézère for the necessary water fun, markets, brocantes, caves etc.
Additional price info and offers
Mentioned rental price includes water, electricity, wifi, wood (when using fireplace or fire pit). There are plenty of duvets and pillows. Of course, anything is possible in consultation. Please call us if you have any questions.
A 30% deposit is required upon booking. Only after receipt of your down payment is your reservation confirmed. The rent is increased by 300 euros deposit and 150 euros compulsory cleaning costs.
When renting linen, towels are included the 15,- euro per person.
