This beautiful 200 year old building has been completely renovated in order to welcome you. We didn't name this delightful holiday home after a famous wine region by accident. It's in here that in days gone by, the wine production of Château Coulon Laurensac used to age. Now it is a beautiful holiday gîte in order to welcome you with all the modern comfort. We kept the traditional style of the building such as beautiful exposed beams and honey-colored stone walls.

The comfortable gîte "Margaux" has all the right ingredients for a perfect holiday. This stylish intimate cottage is finished to a high standard with lots of home from home comforts. You will love its beautiful exposed beams and honey-colored limestone walls. The attractive holiday home is furnished in a contemporary style. This spacious ground floor L-shaped gîte, comes with a fully fitted and equipped kitchen and an en-suite bedroom with a double bed (box spring, 1.60 x 2.00m) [5.5 feet by 6.6 feet].
Complementary high speed Internet access and a TV with DVD player are all at your disposal to make for a comfortable stay. If we are at home, you can come and borrow as many DVDs as you like. In addition to the French television there is a wide selection of satellite channels. Among them many British and American channels like BBC, Sky news, CNN, etc.
This charming vacation house has a large deluxe bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, separate shower, WC and double washbasins. Margaux overlooks the park, the château and boasts a lovely terrace with garden furniture and parasol.

The living room area has two sofas. The kitchen/dining room is modern and well-equipped (table, four chairs). 1 week in deze mooie Gites is eigenlijk te weinig. Schitterend gelegen nabij Bordeaux.. Een aanrader voor wie in deze omgeving vakantie wil houden. Bordeaux en omstreken zijn het bezoek meer dan waard. Met mooi weer is het heerlijk afkoelen in het zwembad.

Fijne plek vlak bij de stad Bordeaux. Het dorpje heet Latresne en heeft alle voorzieningen in de vorm van kleine winkels en bakkerijen. Op 500 m. een supermarkt voor degenen die zelf willen koken. Aanrader is echter gebruik te maken van de "plat du jour" in de stad en overige dorpen. Voor weinig geld (9-13 euro) goed eten. Gite Margaux is groot en comfortabel ingericht. Het terras heeft uitzicht op de mooie en enorme tuin. Daar zitten met een glas wijn, geeft een "rijk" gevoel. Gastvrouw en gastheer Margaret en Ronald zijn heel gastvrij en betrokken. De privacy is groot. Daarnaast hebben wij genoten van het grote (verwarmde) zwembad met fijne ligstoelen. Dit ligt naast het chateau op een afgesloten terrein. In de gites hoor of zie je er niets van. In de omgeving zijn mooie autotochten te maken en je kunt veel wijnchateaux bezoeken. Kortom een aanrader in vele opzichten.

Heerlijk plekje vlak bij Bordeaux. In een kwartiertje zit je in het centrum. Rustige Gite vlak naast het prachtige Chateau. Welkom was erg goed geregeld en heerlijk aan het zwembad gelegen. Klein stukje rijden naar enorme supermarkt geeft de mogelijkheid om te koken in je eigen keukentje. Goede ervaring en absoluut een aanrader. Enige jammere was dat i.v.m. veel Franse vakanties in augustus de bakkertjes om de hoek allemaal gesloten waren.
