Domaine de Royères

Our spacious and atmospheric farmhouse gîte is located in the yard of our centuries-old organic farm, beautifully situated on the hills and with beautiful views.
There is also a small (12 places) farm campsite, and an attractive and fun farm hut available next to cool 'wild camping' spots in our meadows.
For young and old, there is much to experience, to discover and to do so that it will not only be a wonderful holiday, but an unforgettable experience in our 'farmer's paradise':
There is a welcoming, child-friendly atmosphere, lots of free discovery and play and everyone can help to feed the animals, harvest, help in the vegetable garden, make a campfire, graze the animals, go on the tractor with 'farmer Rik', which has become a household word.
There are two large swimming pools, play equipment, bicycles and a shop with our own products.
Our guests can relax with us; go to castles and farmers' markets, music festivals, swimming lakes or enjoy a book and a good glass of wine or a good conversation by the campfire. Plenty of peace and nature in a stunningly beautiful landscape.

A big advantage of the location of the gite is that it is situated between the small farmers campsite with a nice and atmospheric wooden farmhouse (for information see our site) and the lively farmyard. Therefore, it offers the possibility to participate in the pleasant farm activities or to withdraw to the sunny or shady private terrace that surrounds the gite and from where you have a beautiful view over a wide park-like landscape.
Our guests love the relaxing, welcoming tranquillity combined with, who wants, an educational experience for all ages.

Layout cottage
You enter the room where a toilet, storage room, stairs to the sleeping area and the entrance to the kitchen and living room are located.

The open kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher and oven with electric hob.
A robust wooden dining table adorns the kitchen diner and you can comfortably enjoy a glass of good French wine together in front of the wood-burning stove.
There is also a separate play corner in the living room.
In addition to basic heating by means of radiators, the wood-burning stove provides for atmospheric and pleasant warmth.

When you climb the wooden stairs in the hall, halfway there is a cosy play area for children where they can retreat. At the top of the stairs you come to the sleeping area. This consists of three spacious bedrooms. One of them has a cosy loft bed with a bed underneath. The two other rooms are equipped with two single beds (switchable). The mattresses are of good quality with dimensions of 90 x 2m.10.
All rooms have a fountain with mirror, attractive cupboard space and old-fashioned dormer window.
This floor has a separate second toilet.
The bathroom has a good shower, washbasin with mirror, special heating for towels, enough storage space, if desired a changing pad for the baby and of course again a beautiful old fashioned dormer.

Domaine de Royères is a must for everyone who loves the beautiful French outdoor life, in summer, autumn, winter and spring.
