Maussac

This beautiful, very large and typically French holiday home (13 ps) with lovely private pool is located in the hilly landscape of the Lot et Garonne. The holiday home is nice and cool in the summer and in the early and late season it is also lovely. Maussac has a large private garden of 1.1 ha, so you are in an oasis of space and tranquillity, located between fields and woods and you have beautiful views over the rolling countryside.

Inside
Holiday home Maussac has its own entrance, a lounge with wood-burning stove, dining area and large flat-screen TV. The kitchen has all the comfort you need. There is a bathroom with 2 showers and a bath. In the storage room you will find a washing machine, dryer and drying rack.
On the first floor, there are 5 bedrooms (including bedroom 1 and 2 with air conditioning). The 1st (family room) has a double bed with two single beds behind a low wall. This bedroom also has a private bathroom (bath, shower, washbasin and toilet). The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have a double bed and a cot. The 4th bedroom has 3 single beds and the 5th has 2 single beds. Upstairs you will find an additional bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet.

Outside
Maussac is set in its own grounds of 1.1 hectares situated among fields and woods and with beautiful views over the rolling countryside. Enjoy the beautiful fauna and flora; buzzards, falcons, owls, roe deer and polecats cross your path. In the large garden you will find a private pool of (9 x 4.5 m), terrace with outdoor table and chairs, large BBQ, sun loungers and parasols and a trampoline for the children. Maussac is an ideal summer destination! About six bikes are also available at Maussac.

Surroundings
You will find picturesque villages and towns in this area, with terraces on medieval market squares with centuries-old wooden market halls, such as Villeréal the bastide town from the 13th century, and Pujols, Castillonès, Marmande and the capital Agen. There are many opportunities for sports in the area: hiking, horse riding, water skiing, fishing, cycling, ...

At the back of the house is the gîte where the (very friendly) Dutch managing couple stay discreetly. Here you can go for the key or any emergencies. The gîte is in an enclosed and completely separate section with its own terrace and entrance (no looking in on you), so you will not be disturbed during your stay.
