L'écrin de la Cité brings together the most beautiful villas in Carcassonne. Our villa L'écrin Coeur de Vignes offers an exceptional setting in the middle of the vineyards, and a breathtaking view of the ramparts of the Cité de Carcassonne. You can get to the heart of this medieval town in less than 5 minutes on foot.
We have created a place for a successful holiday with family or friends (over 60 reviews, all 5/5). Just for you, on a 2500 m² plot of land, a large air-conditioned house of more than 210 m², 6 beautiful parental suites for 15 people (king-size beds 180*200, private shower room), a fully equipped kitchen, a games/TV room, a heated swimming pool (salt treatment), 2 spas, free wifi (fibre), 2 satellite TV channels, 1 petanque ground, 1 playground for children, 2 terraces, one of which is shaded with a bioclimatic pergola, barbecues, free parking for 6 cars (rare in Carcassonne).
We are also committed to a responsible approach: we have set up systems to reduce our water and electricity consumption, we have a green energy contract, we use eco-labelled cleaning products, and we favour local purchases and craftsmen. You can use our composter in addition to sorting your waste. You will have at your disposal filtered water (osmosis), an espresso machine with coffee beans (1 organic pack provided), ecolabel soap and shower gel. An electric recharging station (11kW) is available for your recharges.
Finally, we share our best addresses and secret corners with you. We were lucky enough to be named the 1st Tourism Ambassador of Greater Carcassonne in 2020.

Surrounded by the vineyards of the Cité, you will have the impression of being in the countryside while being 250 metres away from one of the most famous monuments in the world.
Carcassonne's train station and city centre are a 20-minute walk away, or a 3-minute drive. Carcassonne airport is less than 10 minutes away by taxi.
There are many restaurants in the Cité de Carcassonne (less than 5 minutes walk), including 2 Michelin starred restaurants for you to enjoy.
Carcassonne is the starting point for many excursions within 30 minutes drive.

Further remarks
Our rates include beds made on arrival, rental of towels and bath sheets for the heated pool or spas, and cleaning at the end of your stay.
We provide: organic coffee beans (500g), soap, cleaning products and ecolabel shower gel, welcome gift (local wine).
All the suites have king-size beds 180 by 200, of great brand for more comfort, and 4 of them can be separated into 2 single beds on request.
The swimming pool is open and heated from early April to late October. The spas are heated and accessible all year round.

Beds will be made on arrival, towels and bath sheets for the swimming pool and jacuzzis are provided and we take care of normal end-of-stay cleaning.
