The house
Gîte Limoux is a cosy holiday home (gîte), which excels in terms of interior design and luxury. This gîte has a surface area of 44m2 and can accommodate 2 people. The gîte has a barn chic style interior, a fantastically equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, a beautiful living/dining room with TV, wireless speaker and a bedroom with blissful beds with quality bed linen and big soft towels.
Large panoramic patio doors give access to the very spacious private terrace with barbecue from where you overlook the Carcassonne valley and the Pyrenees. Need peace & privacy, you'll find it here! Feel like socialising once in a while? At the poolside and during the weekly "table d'hôtes" dinner, you'll meet fellow bon vivants. Only if you want it!

Domaine de la Bade is located near the world-famous city of Carcassonne in the beautiful Languedoc-Roussillon region of sunny southern France. The 14 hectare property is situated on top of a hill and surrounded by sunflower fields, vineyards and olive groves. There are no busy roads passing the property and there is plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors and relax.
The domain is situated in the department "Aude" that stretches from the Mediterranean Sea to the Pyrenees. The land of the Cathars (as this region is also called) is a hospitable region with a unique history, beautiful scenery and a truly authentic French atmosphere. Here, you can easily step back in time and experience the real France.

Samen een heerlijke week doorgebracht in de luxe Gite Limoux op het Domaine de La Bade. Veel mooie dingen gezien zoals de stad Carcassonne. Daarna relaxen op het grote en schaduwrijke terras, omringd door groen, en met een mooi uitzicht op de bergen in de omgeving. Miranda en Joep hebben een perfecte vakantieplek gemaakt en we hebben genoten van hun gastvrijheid. Aanrader.

Fantastische gite, van alle gemakken voorzien. De gite is erg gezellig binnen en buiten. Mooie veranda en dek met ligstoelen. Heerlijke bedden. Royale keuken, zithoek en eettafel. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Doen een leuke ontvangst met een drankje en een knabbeltje. Op aanvraag en tegen betaling een heerlijk welkomstdiner met een flesje wijn. In ons geval erg fijn omdat we laat aan kwamen. Mooie locatie met prachtig zwembad en fantastisch uitzicht. Ondanks de vijf (ook grotere) appartementen op het terrein, ervaar je toch veel privacy. Een echte aanrader.

Domaine de la Bade, en in het bijzonder gite Limoux, is voor ons een nieuw synoniem voor vakantie. Wij hadden enorm veel geluk dat deze gite door anulering vrijgekomen was.
Een mooie, ruime door Miranda en Joep met zorg en smaak ingerichte gite met een enorm eigen terras op een goed onderhouden, gezellig Domaine waar ieder meer dan genoeg privacy in en rondom zijn gite heeft.
Een heerlijk plek om te genieten van geweldige uitzichten, ontspanning, gezelligheid, het heerlijke zwembad, lekker eten en de leuke en interessante tips van de lieve eigenaars Miranda en Joep!!
Restaurants, food & wine
Eating and drinking are among the locals' favourite pastimes and the area is blessed with fine restaurants, fantastic markets and many wine estates where you can sample a delicious glass of wine. But having a cup of coffee on a sleepy terrace in the area or a picnic along the beautiful Canal du Midi is not to be sneezed at either.
There is much to see and do in the land of the Cathars. We are happy to help you discover this beautiful region.

There is plenty to see and do in the immediate vicinity. The city of Carcassonne with the largest walled castle of Europe is at 15 km from the domain. The beautiful surroundings with hills, mountains, rivers, lakes and typical French villages have much to offer in the way of sporting activities; mountain biking, cycling, hiking, white water canoeing, rafting, swimming, fishing, boating, visiting caves, skiing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, horse riding, golf and much more.

The prices include electricity, gas, water, bed linen, towels, tea towels and Wi-Fi. Tourist tax and compulsory final cleaning are not included in the price.
Baby cots can be reserved free of charge when booking. A complete baby package (cot, high chair, baby bath and changing mat) is available free of charge (on request).
