Gourdonette

Gourdonette is a maison de ville in a huge garden close to the centre of Gourdon where you have lots of terraces and restaurants and shops and such a nice weekly market! Gourdonette has its own private pool, garden and terraces around the house, so you can always sit in the shade or in the sun. The pool is in full sun all day and is surrounded by a large terrace with loungers and parasols, ideal for relaxing by the pool. Only 500 metres from the beautiful medieval town of Gourdon.
Interior

Small French kitchen with new appliances, the living room has a huge library with old books. It is a cosy, authentic, French living room. Next to the living room there is a covered veranda where you can sit with less beautiful weather. There are 3 bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with 2 bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet.

Outside

Once in the enclosed garden you will find plenty of space in front and behind and on either side of the holiday home. The location is quiet yet within walking distance of the town of Gourdon (no nuisance near the house from cars as the house is on a quiet street). There is a lawn with garden furniture and a barbecue. The private pool has a safety cover.
Surroundings

Gourdon is located in the beautiful Lot/Dordogne region in south-west France. Gourdon, the capital of Bouriane, is a small picturesque town with many narrow streets leading to the church and the "Table d'Orientation" with breathtaking 360-degree views over the Bouriane countryside. It has a history dating back to the Middle Ages. On the ring road around the town you will find a selection of excellent restaurants and terraces where you can enjoy a day's meal in the sun. There are also several supermarkets and bakeries selling delicious pastries, bread and croissants. Tuesday and Saturday markets sell local produce. On the outskirts of the city are 2 lakes in beautiful surroundings.
Activities

There are also many activities to enjoy, such as canoeing on the Dordogne River (8 km), ballooning (20 km), swimming and fishing in the lake (1 km), 18-hole golf course (17 km) and horse riding nearby. Rocamadour (one of the most visited sites in France), Sarlat and the "Valley of Castles" are all within easy reach, as are the vineyards of Cahors where you can taste the excellent wines of the Lot. Of course, if you want, you can just sit by the pool and enjoy the sun or relax under the tree with a good book.
