Situated in the heart of the village of Montfaucon, a 13th-century English bastide, Maison Causalis is an authentic light-coloured stone house, typical of the Lot region. It enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park, an exceptional area designated a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2017.
Between the Causse de Gramat and the Bouriane, Causalis is the ideal starting point for exploring unspoilt landscapes on foot or by bike, and savouring the peace and light of a remarkable natural environment.
Perfect for 5 people, this 65 m² house is spread over three levels and combines old-fashioned character with renovated comfort.
Ground floor: living room with open-plan kitchen, fully renovated, functional and friendly.
1st floor: bedroom with double bed 140x190 cm and single bed 90x190 cm, renovated shower room with toilet
2nd floor: bedroom with double bed 140x190 cm
No garden, but a small area of greenery in front of the house, accessible to set up a table and enjoy the breathtaking view over the lake.

Just a short walk from the house, you'll find the church of Saint-Barthélémy, renowned for its 17th-century Baroque altarpieces, as well as open views over the Lot countryside. Opposite the house is the Lac de Montfaucon picnic area, a small fishing lake with a beautiful wash-house, and a picnic area with tables and benches in the shade of the plane trees.
