The house
Behind the imposing facade of Le Prieuré, a former monastery from the beginning of 1800, you will find a small paradise with 5 chambres d´hôtes and 3 independent holiday homes. Le Prieuré is situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Dordogne and the Lot and close to Souillac. Uniquely, Le Prieuré has a chapel still in its original state where you can retreat to listen to pleasant music.
The fully equipped Gîtes are situated on the garden side and offer a lot of privacy. The Farm is the oldest part of Le Prieuré and has direct access to the chapel from the private garden. The Atelier has a private terrace and a view of the garden and patio. The Pavillon is a cosy house with a private terrace situated in the shade of 2 fig trees.

Le Prieuré is centrally located in the Dordogne from where you can make nice trips to the famous cities Sarlat, Domme, Beynac and Rocamadour. The town of Souillac is 2 km away. It offers plenty of choice of shops, cafes, restaurants, museums and markets.
After discovering the beautiful surroundings, you can enjoy Le Prieuré and its beautiful courtyard, the large romantic garden with rose beds, shaded and sunny corners, a heated swimming pool and especially lots of silence and space.
