The house
The holiday home is a beautifully converted barn with a huge covered area next to it at the edge of the pool. The layout is very spacious , bright and cosy. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators to store plenty of soft drinks. There is a separate games room with a table football and there is table tennis.

The house is located in a beautiful valley. You can walk there for kilometres without encountering anyone or cycling.
By car it takes 5 minutes to get to the village where all shops are. On Saturdays there is a very pleasant market.
The village has a large swimming lake with all kinds of water sports activities.
Just outside Montaigu is a flying school where you can parachute if you like.

Très belle région, très beau gîte avec superbe piscine.Les propriétaires, Martine et André,sont discrets et très à l'écoute.Ils nous ont très bien renseigné sur les visites à faire et les bons petits restaurants.

Rustig, heel mooie locatie, de overkapte schuur is magnifiek. Heel vriendelijke eigenaars (wonen ernaast): dagelijks verse groenten. Het huis is basic maar alles wat je nodig hebt. Het huis is heel groot: dus je huurt niet zomaar een klein stulpje. Volg zeker de tips van de eigenaars om dorpjes te bezoeken!

Activities
The holiday house is located in a beautiful valley where you can enjoy hiking and cycling. It is so quiet that you will often meet roe deer. It is not far from the village (3km) with all shops and a large swimming lake with attractions. During the summer all kinds of things are organised of which the "marché gourmand" is one of the most famous. (eating at long tables with the locals) There are many places of interest such as chateaux, bastides and many markets.

Further remarks
It is a place where you can fully relax. The sounds you hear are of the birds and the wind but rarely any other sound.
It is a very friendly convivial area where toetism is still thin on the ground.
But of course there is TV and wifi for rainy days.
