Le Durfort is situated against a hill just outside the village of Arnac; belonging to the municipality of Varen. It is situated on an area of about 1 hectare.
Mainly pasture and woodland are in the immediate vicinity.
From the balcony at the front of the house you have a beautiful view over the village and the surrounding area.
Within a radius of about 20 km you will find several tourist places like St. Antonin Noble Val, Najac , Laguépie and Cordes sur Ciel. One by one recommendable!

Wij zijn al jaren verknocht aan het huis met aan elke kant een terras voor elke maaltijd. Zalig plonsen in het zwembad in alle rust. Het huis ligt mooi geïsoleerd zodat je helemaal op je gemak bent. Voorzien van alle gemakken biedt het een uitstekende uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen: kayakken, zwemmen, vissen, mountainbiken en prachtige wandelingen in de ruime omgeving.

Wat een prachtig vakantieverblijf is dit. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht is schitterend. De ruime, uitgebouwde chaletwoning met de vele zitjes en het fijne zwembad maken het vakantiegevoel compleet. Het huis was brandschoon bij aankomst. Merci :-) In de omgeving is niet super veel te doen, maar een week of twee houd je het hier goed uit. De kinderen wilden niet meer terug naar huis :-) Aanrader!

Twee heerlijke weken in Arnac gehad: lekker zwemmen in het zwembad, ontbijten op het balkon met prachtig uitzicht en genieten van de leuke stadjes én de Aveyron in de buurt. Was super!

Arnac lies on the edge of the Gaillac wine fields.
The Mas d' Aurel is a must!

Swimming; in the river as well as in the open air swimming pool or in our own swimming pool where it is also lovely to splash around.

Mountainbiking; in the valley of the Aveyron, varying from flat to hilly. through farmlands and vast forests.
Horse riding; . is provided by the French neighbours; to be indicated at reservation. It is even possible to come with your own horse(s).

Climbing; The steep rock formations of the Gorges de Aveyron invite you to do so!

Further remarks
The house is built in the form of a chalet. Through a driveway of about 125m you reach the house. The entrance is situated under a large roof, with seating and dining table. You enter the house on the upper floor, where the kitchen, utility room, large living room (60m2) with fireplace and balcony are located.beautiful view!
Here you will also find a double bedroom with adjoining bathroom.
Through a lazy staircase down comes the corridor where the other 3 bedrooms are located.
2 doubles and 1 single.
All with French windows that open onto the terrace with swimming pool. Size 8 x 4 m, 1.25 m deep.
On this floor you will also find the second bathroom.
Around the house are several terraces.
So at any time of day (hopefully) sun or shade.
